An Offer of Sanctuary for the Provist Freedom Fighters

Pandemic Legion, tried and true supporters of the Provist cause, hereby offers sanctuary from the dogmatic and draconian Empires. CONCORD is corrupted, you will never be safe while the Empires control space. We offer you a chance at freedom, a chance at something new. We control over FOUR HUNDRED systems in lawless space and you can settle in any of them. If you thought the Caldari Navy was baffled today, just wait until they see you slip from spheres of influence. You and yours would thrive with limitless potential and new freedoms.

Fighting the Empires head on is a losing battle - if you martyr yourselves you will simply be delivering the corrupt Empires a victory on a silver platter. Your cause will be forgotten, your loved ones will perish, and everything you fought for will be reduced to a single word: "traitor".

Hm. What was it one of the Provists said? Hyn Soila. "I've learned Pandemic Legion's assistance isn't exactly reliable," "...they reliably wind up shooting us after they've had their fun."

This Pandemic Legion announcement should be seen in the light of recent events: Provist Taskforce succeeds at Taisy!

Thanks to PL, the Provist task force managed to succeed their objective (unknown at this moment what it could be) and jump out undamaged.
The Carrier commanders even thanked PL for their efforts in securing them from their attackers.

The fight itself was very chaotical at times, seeing 3 and even a 4 sided engagements with multiple fleets fighting.

We control over FOUR HUNDRED systems in lawless space and you can rent any of them. If you thought the Caldari Navy was baffled today, just wait until they see you join PL, then you'll be grouped with all the other entities from destroyed alliances. You and yours will fit right in, just wait till you get to Amamake and listen to Heretics croak.

Fighting the Empires head on is a losing battle - if you get careless in Amamake you tend to lose capital/super-capital ships. Your cause will be forgotten, like ours, but nobody is sure if we had one to begin with. Your loved ones will perish, as we kill all of ours in a ritual of initiation, and everything you fought for will be reduced to a single word: "ponies".

Accept this life or be destroyed.

Fixed that for you?

When I consider why I do not blindly follow a CEP willing to backstab each other and weaken the State for their own ends, It is not freedom that comes to mind; instead I think of the centuries of common Caldari culture and practice of what Civire call The Way of the Winds slowly being eroded by the influence of the Gallente Federation and their materialistic prowess, which causes our fellow Caldari to collude against each other; as we have seen from Ishukone, making peace and treaties with enemies of the Caldari People in ways we now know and other ways we still do not for certain.

If anything, too much freedom is the problem, not the solution. It has never been a helpful ideology for the Caldari people, historically and recently. Look at the example from the Gallente; freedom proved to be a two sided blade as the Gallente press had no issue with reporting Black Eagle collusion with treasonous elements of the Caldari people and the questionable actions of Ishukone, even though this action certainly damaged the Federation. In this very way, Ishukone leadership proves too much freedom is a weakening and destabilising factor for Caldari prosperity.

In regards to my own position on your offer, I thank the Pandemic Legion for its recent assistance and offer, however I believe there is still hope for the restoration of the State's Dignity and as such will not take the offer while that hope is alive. These brave officers' survival is a critical part of that. I have been told by many Gallente friendly members of the State that it is too late, but I have not lost my belief in the Caldari people and will help every brother and sister that I can believe in our people again. I feel the Spirits of my Ancestors guide my actions and that encourages me further, to do better, try harder and to not give up. For the sake of the State, even if it costs me everything else.

For now I will do all I can to deter those seeking easy billions from a scared element currently controlling the state from interfering with the plans and designs of the Caldari Providence Directorate and the Templis Dragonaurs.

Too little, too late. As with the traitor Tsukaya, Pandemic Legion gets to have all the glory of saying they supported a failed cause without actually having to put any of the actual effort into doing it.

When Nation showed up in Taisy, everyone started smoking bat guano. Priapic prions, yes, no? How exciting - though perhaps a somewhat Dianaesque fate for the Federation lurks beneath that particular folded surface.

I have some memory of swinging by a little recruiter's office there, too, once, but that was a very long time ago. I'm not sure if it is still open for business. Some pretentious new wave pod band was associated with those lads, wasn't it?

No, you do the exact opposite - latch on at the last minute and pretend you were there from the start.

Now, I'm not involved in these matters either, but let me make this observation: Seeing as your participation starts and ends on the IGS, too, I think your assessment is of extremely questionable worth.

We killed over a thousand humpsucking drones with no sense of purpose in their lives, apart from the twisted purpose the Caldari Navy tried to put there.

Maybe once you stop sucking down the spoiled milk from the Caldari teat you'll be able to see the truth for what it is. Enjoy the scraps they throw your way. Scum trash.

Enlighten us, oh Illuminated One, what is the truth and why is defending the Provists a good decision? You just want attention, that's the only "truth" there is to this.

It is a nice little jacket. The Provists were always snappy dressers, and I've always had a soft spot for charismatic national purpose. I was unable to entice the Executor into my mushroom cellar on Caldari Prime, and I failed in my suggestion that the Swarm take him in before his disappearance (though I suppose it is not necessarily a given they were not involved, as it was roughly their space... but anyway, where was I), oh, yes!

An adorable top!

So yeah, Provists, how's that offer of sanctuary working out for you? Not too well?

Now there's a surprise.

Soila said it himself, their continued existence was tenuous at best if they took Pandemic Legion's offer. Taking sanctuary with capsuleers who could kill you / return you to the State for a sizable reward at a moments notice isn't a very good offer at the best of times; I'm struggling to understand why you ever considered they'd accept it.

That's deluded, even for you Ixiris.

Pandemic Legion or no, there is no going back to the old world before we lost Prime. Anyone affiliated with the Provists would do well to realize that quickly and fold themselves back into the State while they can. You can either be hunted like a dog, or you can continue to serve the State and get paid doing it.
