Just curious as to what is the official cutoff for not being "too young" anymore?

Our gynocentric world with pink ribbons for this and that and boo-hooing on talk shows about breast cancer has left men's medical issues on the sidelines.

MEN: examine your nads or have your best girl do it for you.

And wear a blue ribbon over your crotch for nad-cancer awareness.

Well, it turns out that they do have those ribbon car magnets, ribbon pins, etc. for testicular cancer awareness. Orchid is the color, not sure how or why they chose that. And this is kind of an odd slogan to have picked.

Most men do not have a problem with not fondeling themselves on a daily basis. It is the women of the world where we find a significant population that are unwilling, for some crypto religious reason me thinks, to check their own breasts Ugh

On a serious note, checking yourself for Testicular Lumps is a good idea. Problem is every time I feel like checking I'm sitting beside a hottie on the Subway.

The last time, this one actually smiled at me. I asked her what her name was an in a Baritone voice I heard "Biff"...

That is strange, last time I was dressed in drag and eating lunch, this guy kept asking me what my name was...and I said Biff! What a coincidence! Must be a popular name to use when in a bind!

Here are some basic facts on the subject, your risk of testicular cancer begins to drop once you reach about the age of 36. The younger you are the higher the risk factor, despite the fact that most people think that it is the other way around. So 20 is not to young at all, it is statistically accurate. Your risk factors are also greater if you are white as oppose to men of other ethnic groups.

But it just so happens that testicular cancer cells are one of the most treatable and curable cancers. With todays chemotherapy and anti-cancer medications it is not the same death sentence that it used to be. That is, unless you let it get so far that it spreads to all of your internal organs.

So considering how often all of you are yanking your crank, there is literally no reason not to check if a lump is forming. If you find something, a simple ultrasound will be able to tell whether or not it is something to worry about. Not all lumps are cancerous, especially lumps found on the epididymis which are almost always benign. (if you don't know what that is look it up)

Last but not least, testicular cancer typically does not hurt. Pain is usually a sign of epididymititis, which you can get from yanking it to much, or your sweet little girlfriend is carrying chlamydia (or something else) and she gave it to you. Abnormal testicular growth, or a lump that does not hurt located directly on your balls are the warning signs to look out for.

So make friends with your balls. Get to know them. Know how they feel now so you can tell if they change later. If something changes go and get it looked at. If you get it taken care of early, even if the worst happens, you will be just fine. Welcome to the 21st century.

Let this be a reminder for everyone to check your balls regularly...Cancer is no joke.

I want to thank the OP for bringing up this important and seldom talked about issue.

I have shown my wife your post and she assures me that in a few hours she will give me a very slow, soft and thorough examination with her hands.

So again OP....Thank you. Thank you very much.
