Unless this vet station has an alpha or beta of a full WiS, where we can meet at bars and crap there really is no point to a 10 year vet station. *shrugs* But yet I still want in... 10 years as of april 1st. though maybe take a month or two.

I can't imagine there are many players who have stayed subbed without interruption for 10 years flat, and of those that have - how many are going to want to sit in that station to do effectively nothing special other than sitting in that particular station?

On a side note, I know why it takes them a year to build this station, it's the first one where the door actually opens! Shocked

If this is anything like the t-shirts they promised for the New Eden Open, expect this sometime in Winter 2015. Then again stations are a lot more work than adding some t-shirts, so maybe that's a bit optimistic.

The station should let noobs dock in it, but then they are captured and used for reactor shielding.

With all due respect, the huge majority of EVE are not 10yr vets, and could care less, and would rather that Dev time was dedicated to a better game for everyone, rather than a trophy for a tiny minority.

My thing with this is that A: they promised it as part of EVE 10 years to award those around for just as long and B: I refuse to believe they made this "Vet station" up at last fanfest, at least without knowing they where able in the coming 12 months to allocate some dev time to this.

If it was/ is not possible then CCP should say so and we can drop this.
This is just getting ridiculous letting us 'hang' here. :x

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.
