Well CCP took all the eggs out of the EVE basket and threw them against a wall, then they set fire to the basket. The only important thing is that all the eggs are not in one basket so mission accomplished.

This particular brand of cynicism has always amused me. I think CCP is restructuring due to the well known ambitious projects that all flopped. All of them. DUST and WOD and monoclegate.

An analysis of their operating practices probably identified a lot of fat in the system including presumably overlapping roles and skittish leadership. The accumulated stress on the system leads to internal pressure on non-vital staff who eventually leave on their own merits or are exciseed.

CCP Atlanta was excised. The question here is did this guy get cut out too?

A more focussed direction for the game should be pursued. A more lean and clean company that's hungry for success like it's earlier incarnation, tempered by embarassing failures in design and PR. A much preferred situation instead of this gawdy and arrogant CCP from 2010 that allowed itself to become complacent and self obsessed.
