Long undersea search could cost nearly $250 million dollars, official says

How much do we spend, and for how long a period ??

Is it truly moral to pursue an exact cause, and retrieval of information, and use unlimited funds to do so ?

Or do some sectors think we should pursue all to the end just because someone may still be alive ? (I've heard this bandied about.)

Somehow, we have lost our own compass, refusing to acknowledge the truth of death when it's looking right at us.

Even if the black boxes are found, there most likely is not going to be anything helpful revealed. We'll just know where the graveyard is, and nothing more.

I guess I'm trying to say, that this whole operation is turning into a case of misplaced priorities.

I have a confession to make.

I stole it. It's in my backyard.

Stephen Harper wrote the year before he took office: "...Without adequate access to key information about government policies and programs, citizens and parliamentarians cannot make informed decisions and incompetent or corrupt governments can be hidden under a cloak of secrecy."

However hypocritical that statement may be for Harper, it's starting to look like a cover up for Malaysia. Pointing the plane in the other direction doesn't make it their problem? Why did it take so long to mobilize a search and rescue... mislead a rescue operation......and it's too late now so just presume it's dead on the ocean floor?

These officials have skittles for brains.

“When we look at salvaging (wreckage) at a depth of 4.5 kilometres, no military out there has the capacity to do it,” Transport and Defence Minister Hishammuddin Hussein told reporters on Thursday in Kuala Lumpur." >_____> wow the name is censored on forums lol (url to article of quote).

Theories still circulating? I thought CNN had the decisive and final word on the subject: massive black hole from teh outer spaces.

At least it gets me off the hook, since I used to work for a subcontractor making aviation parts for various US military jets and also for the Boeing 777 Oops
my bad Sad

Yeah but it's CNN. When we had a meteor do a close flyby not too long ago, it was CNN that posed the question to their guest Bill Nye "is this possibly due to global warming?" Lol

And their specious "top story" headlines: Bear attack: 'She's bleeding hard!' (which links to a video only)...

....and "John Daly Does Weird Trick Shot".

Yup. Top Stories. Roll

two thirds of the search area has been searched by the mini sub, still no wreckage What?. the mystery deepens , are they in the right area? this could go down as one of the biggest mysteries in aviation history.
