Your's truly, Argus Sorn, CEO of Star Frontiers - speaking at EVE Online Fanfest 2015: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KaSvljRoRbw

About Us:

Star Frontiers is a 0.0 based PvP focused corp currently operating independently under our own alliance. We have a history of living all over 0.0 and have flown with a variety of coalitions and alliances as well as spent multiple stints operating as a solo 0.0 corp. We were founded eight years ago (crazy) by a group of friends who just wanted to have fun playing EVE together. We still maintain much of that flavor, and in -S-F- camaraderie and a good time together come first. If you are a player who wants a close knit, fun loving group of people with oodles of experience to pass on, along with top notch logistics - we are the corp for you.

We have never lost that "group of friends" feel, even as we have grown to 250+ members, moved through over a dozen different regions and spent time in and out of alliances and coalitions. That being said we've managed to develop into a decent little PvP group and often live by the motto: "We're not elitists, we're just tired of fail."

We are a social and supportive bunch while still striving to play good EVE. While our focus is on PvP, we understand the importance of industry, mining and ratting to a corp - and in particular, to the enjoyment of players. You can't always be fighting, and so we welcome all comers, as long as there is a WILLINGNESS to learn to PvP well.

Our goal is to run a close knit corp, that has fun and enjoys all that nullsec has to offer while making an effort to develop all of our members into highly competent pvpers.

- Excellent Logistics (we'll move your stuff for you!) -
- Corp Loaner Ships, Including Capitals -
- Generous Ship Replacement -
- Comms, Forums, and Slack Chat-
- ISK Based PvP and Recruiting Incentives -
- FC Training and Support -
- Open to All Skill Levels -
- Alliance Options Available: Make Your Corp Part Of Our Family! -

What We Look For:

While we are fairly new player friendly, please know that we are not looking for just anyone. There is no formal teaching here in SF, but there is plenty of "on the job" training. All of our members and leadership are more than willing to teach you what you need to know to operate in 0.0 and to PvP. We don't troll, berate, or belittle - and offer a supportive environment in which to learn how to live and survive as a nullsec pilot. No one who listens, learns and adapts well will fail in our corp.

Requirements For All Applicants:

- Full API Security Check -
- Have a Mic for Comms -
- Must Live in our official area of operations (lowsec or 0.0) and PvP -
- Be Open Minded, Willing To Learn, and Adaptable -
- Be Fun To Fly With -
- No hard SP requirements -

We are also accepting corp mergers. If you have a cool little pvp corp you'd like to see become a part of something greater - stop by and chat with us. Plenty of room exists for leadership opportunity.

See you out there!

For me, "finding" SF was better then the eve lottery. As my old corp was disbanded after a merc drubbing and RL account theft (not mine), a friend of mine said "join up, its all the good FC's from those blues," and I did.

As for the lottery part, there is so much game theory knowledge available, as well as ship replacement that its like free isk.
Certainly the "free isk" should attract many, buts its the casual atmosphere that people will stay for.

Some of my favorite times with SF have been;
Giving pod rides to goons escaping PNQY fights, while bubbling 9-V
BLOPS'ing TEST, to the extent the corp was earning from the faction/deadspace drops from carebears.
Using SHAC's against goon welpfleet's trying to take down towers
And the perennial favorite, AF roams.

Sure being a part of a SOV holding alliance means sometimes needing to shoot boring stuff, but the Roams and BLOPS certainly make up for it. And dont forget SF does LOGI.

But what does it mean to to be a member of SF? It means almost continuous member presence (prime hang over times things are thin), of a great group of guys and not tool among them. It means no director agro at the same time your getting wife/gf agro. And it means, last but not least, COOKIES!

The single best abstract part of SF, is its persistent personality. It attracts and holds reasonable likeable people, who also happen to be, or grow to be, badass.
And having joined a couple of alliance's along the way and seeing other corporations operate, I can say 100% truthfully that SF is the place for me

(EDIT, all of it)

Star Frontiers was the first and only real corp I joined in Eve Online, and I'll tell you it is the best place I could ever hope for. Not only is it the main reason why I still play eve, but it is the corp that taught me everything I know about Eve. The reason I know how to FC, what to do with what ship in combat, how to hunt down and kill people, and everything else that makes me a good PvPer, is because I was lucky enough to be accepted into a phenomenal corp almost immediately after starting the game.

So if you new to the whole pvp thing, or an experienced veteran just looking for some great fights with good players, Star Frontiers has a place for you. And if you are totally new to the game ask about joining our training corp.

I wasn't even looking for a corporation to join let alone a big bad shiny corp of awesome like Star Frontiers. I had done nothing with my life but hoard dull lifeless belongings. Any time I had tried pvping I failed as miserably as a Kardashian trying to sing "chocolate rain". Now I'm sitting on a high chance or successfully smiting my enemies and I'm having fun doing it! Of course the atmosphere of the corporation has NOTHING to do with it cuz we're too serious and you'll get wtf pwned by the leadership for getting blown up.......and if you believe that then look at this! http://s792.photobucket.com/albums/yy204/Star-Frontiers/Posters/?action=view&current=SFspam.jpg

Possibly in search of a new home and a fresh start I think previous alliance, Imperial Order, imploded and suddenly disbanded. I'll check out your public channel.

Definitely stop by, and anyone else you know can come along too... we're even willing to absorb whole corps.

Our corporation is friendly, welcoming, and has a long history of being supportive and not having too much internal trolling.

Folks looking to hang with other pvpers, who understand the game well, but don't feel the need to smack others with their epeen should check us out.

Just wanted to reiterate that if you're a PVP novice/newb like I was when I joined SF you'll learn a lot and nobody will give you grief about it. We'll even do a bit of supervised FC training if that's a skill you want to develop.

Anyways, played off and on for years, but never found a corp that I liked that operated in my TZ. Came back after a year away and found SF and I've found that I've had a much higher desire to play than I previously did, where I would get burned out after 2+ months or so of constant play. I was a bit nubbly and very rusty after coming back, having been in only one regular PVP corp/alliance before, and they've been more than helpful in getting me trained up as a decent PVP pilot and in providing a good atmosphere to learn in(and make the inevitable mistakes in). In the end, after a few years of on again/off again playing and searching for the right place to be I've found a corp that I can call home because of the people and the atmosphere.

My SF story starts all the way over in 2010 when a small but reportedly bad-ass corp joined the rocky road that TALOS coalition was moving down. It soon became clear that this small band of merry men had a certain something and it wasn’t long before their fleets were the fleets to join. I was in Reaction Theory at the time and all was well over in Fountain as I prepared for a real life operational tour to Afghanistan.

Whilst in Afghan reports started coming through that Fountain was under threat… and all I could do was sit and watch as I followed Dotlan and saw system after system being overwhelmed by the might of TEST and friends. EvE Gate, my savior at the time, provided me with my only connection and communication in the game as I found out that our home system of 9R4 has fallen, along with all my stuffs, and that our little pocket was being decimated. A mail came through from my CEO at the time that TALOS was disbanding and that Reaction was to merge with SF. But being in Afghan I couldn’t do anything as I saw the numbers in corp dropping to but a handful. I asked a buddy who was keeping my Alts training whilst I was away… :BROFIST: Judas… to finally drop my rolls within Reaction and apply, like almost everyone else to SF.

Surprisingly I was accepted even though at the time my KB stats was… how shall we say… interesting. In short I was bloody awful having a 1:2 chance of dying and my isk damage done vs damage dealt was laughable. I was genuinely surprised that I was accepted, all I can think was that my old corpies put in a good word for me… :BROFIST: Ex-Corpies.
Well upon my return from that land of stink, sand and decimation… I was welcomed into the corp. At the time we were all the way down in Nulii-Secunda spaceand the guys within corp were very helpful in arranging cyno’s and the like to get my stuff from Vehan, where I parked what I could all the way down to Pure-Blind… a ***** of a jump route to say the least. Though our stay there wasn’t long as we all grew tired of the Blue Blobs and Sov-Warfare and decided to go it alone in Fountain as we moved into NPC space. It was there that my experience began to grew flying in small fleets and even FCing the odd roam. Slowly but surely I was given advice and even asked for the odd input here and there. Patients is deffo a virtue and some of the bro’s within the corps has more patients than what should be legal to have.
I even achieved fme by appearing in a video from TEST where I am clearly being called primary… I would like to think that it was because of my ever growing reputation but allas… I have to admit that it must have been because I where flying the most expensive ship… one can dream!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFqFxlZmmKg watch this for that fateful day, and shortly after that whilst building our rep as bad-ass hunters we got dropped again http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g6vYMLgEgxo once again being called. But you may look at that and think it isn’t hard to be hot dropped but to be honest that was the only way that TEST was able to have a go at us at the time… our small fleets decimated their isk machine and we were having loads of fun catching their ratting carriers and smashing them in small gang roams…. It generally took them about an hour to form a counter to our fleets and usually it was too out blob us but we had so much fun… we were called names and all sorts in local chat but while we stayed in NPC space we didn’t have SOV bills and we where a having GREAT fun… quite possible the best I’ve had in eve thus far… but also my experience have increased ten fold.

So why would you want to join SF… well if you are looking for a bunch of guys who will help you with your fits, get you organised and allow you to flourish as a PvPer then SF is the corp to join… are you playing the game to shoot people in the face… well then come and join our band and you will have loads of fun chasing peeps around the eve universe!!

We Need You but more importantly You Need Us!

Two and a half years ago, three of my best of friends from Dungeons and Dragons, told me of this game EVE, and finally I caved in to their pressure and started playing. They were all in Star Frontiers, this corporation of about 40 pilots, and at the time, were in their first 0.0 Alliance. I however, was conscripted to the Star Frontiers Academy, a training corporation.

For the better part of these two and a half years, I have been with Star Frontiers, and while my RL Friends arent active this day, I have still found a reason to log on and fly with Star Frontiers. Soon we are celebrating our four year birthday, and there are so very few left from the begining, and so very few left from when I joined. I give credit, to the CEO Argus Sorn, who likewise began this game with RL Friends, for never giving up on Star Frontiers, and leading it to the growth and experience we now have today.

The greatest thing about this corporation, are the people. In my 20 months, I have seen many great pilots come and go, people I got to know on comms and counted as friends. To this day I still hold my breath that Auswolf and Fewtoes, two former players, will return to EVE, and while I know that its a shot in the dark, I still enjoy my time with the guys I fly with now. But regardless, Star Frontiers is a corporation, that WANTS to like you, that WANTS to fly with you, and WANTS to share their EVE experience with you.

I have watched this corporation grow, from the early days of Foundation, through the struggles in Veni Vidi Vici, the maturity and leadership in Talos, even making our own alliance to smack around TEST, and I am proud to have been a part of it.

From our FC sensha, drunkedly singing "Ice Ice Baby" for us, the night we drunkedly recruit people, remembering Kariems first carrier getting killed in a Drive-By Doomsday, Offering travelers fresh Lemonade from my carrier in 0.0, Argus drinking "Margaritas" made from Capri-Suns and Tequila, Velvetharlot destroying people in a Punisher, because that was all he could fly, Fojar and Coffin madly collecting corpses and trying to get one anothers, Princess Kamala single-handedly wanting to take on TEST, and the time I blacked-out at my computer and killed 5 ships.

Those are just the fraction of memories I have with Star Frontiers, but I love every-single last one of them.

Be Bold. Be Brave. Be Badass.

For me it all started in Fountain mid-2010, at the time I was in Solitude Empires (Blade. Alliance). Roam fleets were commonly formed between the coalition in fountain and I hopped into one led by Sensha Saigen. It was a blast and I thought to myself, “Why does this have to end?”

Late 2010 hit and I found myself leaving the corp that introduced me to 0.0. Solitude Empires fell apart and all my friends had left. The choice of where to go after the collapse was obvious. I joined Star Frontiers and instantly knew that I had found my true home in the stars.

Ever since I have joined Star Frontiers I have had the time of my life. From killing TEST in fountain after they took over to standing toe-to-toe with Evoke, Star Frontiers has allowed me to find what I like and do it. Argus has inspired me time and time again and has collected a great group of people into Star Frontiers.

It has been almost a year now and Star Frontiers is still my home. For every friend that I left with Solitude Empires I have gained two with Star Frontiers. It has been said in Star Frontiers that we are not Elite we are just not Fail, every day I have found it to be true.
