CCP has decided to stop doing V3 in lieu of V4--coincedentally (?) bringing back the Golden Fleet of old--gold skins for all Amarr ships.

As far as cap balancing goes, they're ditching the one-target Doomsday for the old-model AoE Doomsday again, giving the Supercarriers Superbombers (and switching the name back to Mothership), and introducing Officer Capital Reps/cap transfers.

As far as dreads go, the Pheonix is getting a Rapid capital missile launcher, and some tracking/cap tweaking for the others. Basically, they're reworking capital missiles so the Pheonix is the new blap boat.

The Rorq's mining bonuses are getting taken away completely and instead it's being converted to a small, mobile Outpost while in *siege* mode. Docking for non-caps (Orca cannot dock either), CQ, Clones, fitting--but there's no personal hangar, only your ship's cargo and the Fleet Hangar.

It's more that we're against the notion that we need our hand held at all because this is EVE after all.

If they were to post summaries (which they do weekly) we wouldn't hate it, but when a player asks for it we see them as needy when the information is already out there.

Because they have sense enough to not condescend to dev responses only, when the player community can answer such questions if asked properly?

Ask in ships & modules and someone might give you a run-down, if you ask nicely or say you are a returning player, etc.

Ask in G.D.... Well... You've seen what happens. It is general discussion, after all.
