This is an adult game, played by adults, and imo the use of the word "****" is not an actionable petition-able offence and not a violation of the EULA simply because its used in every system frequently and without sanction. The devs even use it from time to time. For a clause in an EULA to be valid it must be enforced, if its not enforced equally that clause is then nullified. It cant' simply be used to target specific players while ignoring the rest.

Considering this I am unsubbing 6 of my 8 accounts.




CCP Always have used double standards concerning there GM work.

Yeah the mental state thing is concerning for someone who thinks its okay to take a video-game action to real life. Its even more disturbing that they think their dogwhistle language of "stern talking to" makes it okay.

The lesson I think we can all take from this thread is that cyber-bullies are bad.

I think there is a cyber-bullying hotline and place to report it but, I'm not mandated to report anything in my profession so I don't know for sure.

Remember, even if it turns out that Infinitys target did in fact say mean words, that this is entirely acceptable and understandable, given the fragile emotional state he was rendered in to by Infinitys actions, and that according to the "Teg Directive on Forum Discourse about Cyberbullying", this is in fact classified as a "Side Issue", and therefore may not be discussed.

Its almost 3am here and I have to go to bed. I'm still pretty scared though. Will someone at least hold me until CCP Teg comes by and does something about the bodybuilding, eye socket bashing, vicious dog handling, motorcycle bully?

Ripard only acts after a month. As long as you don't plan on sleeping that long, you might be in a state of fear for several weeks.

Just don't sleep too long though. Last time I did that on a hot thread, 50 pages were added. Makes catching up tough.
