One Saturday evening I decided to solo roam in my good ol' Coercer.

I get blapped on Aivonen-Aki gate by 4 cockbag trashers. Oh well, sht happens, I grab another Coercer.

I get blapped on Nenna-Enaluri gate by 4 cockbag trashers. The same 4 cockbag trashers.


So I check their killboard. Turns out their whole 25-man corp had less kills than I had solo (about 20 iirc, it was mid-month).

I point this out in local adding 'glad I helped your killboard a bit'.

They don't believe me, I say it's nothing special, many of my corp/alliance mates and fellow militiamen have many more (solo kills), go check eve-kill.

They say 'hey congrats you guys are good!' and then try to recruit me!


I say 'lol, no thanks', remind myself why it's a bad idea to solo roam on Saturday evenings in popular systems, log out and go play with my wife instead.

Unbeknownst to the usual trolls in here, the "kill everything that moves for no reason" gameplay is boring and makes as much sense as mining rocks all day.

Funny though that miners are these horrible carebears who are the wellspring from which all evil in Eve flows and yet the people brainlessly sitting on gates all day are righteous leet PVPers whose gameplay CCP must worship and coddle to no end.

It's evidence that mining must be a little more interesting than gate camping because there are less miners in here lobbying for more betls and asking for CCP to send more rocks into their mining lasers.


OP, use a stabbed interceptor if you want to roam and if you are just trying to get A to B, don't stop en-route and you'll get through the systems faster than they can position a disco BS.

Probably, but you'd have to ask a leet gate camper to know for sure. Last one I was caught by was a T3 gang and my understanding is those ships have all sorts of different components required to build them.

As for me, I try to avoid them when I can, so I hope I'm never in a position to ask because they usually have a good rate of catching pods too.

Every day in militia chat people ask if Tama is camped. I respond to them the only way people can understand. The sky is blue, the sun is hot, and tama is camped. It's a nice shortcut from the LS side though if you want to get to nourv. Much more safer for me at least than going through the pipe to Jita from Innia.

Post with your NPC alt main and not your main main alt!
