Did I miss some sort of inside joke re: docked Erebus?

Better reply:
Honestly, this isn't Google circa 1998. Text-based search keywords are a thing of the past (and also not very user friendly / easy to remember). Add a new window for the extra stuff.

Personally, I very much like the way that Apple implemented filters in iTunes. Add a search type, add a "includes", "is", "is not", "does not include", etc, and then optionally add more filters. It's quite similar to how Sysinternals Microsoft does filters in Process Monitor. TBQH, all search-type queries should be like that IMO.

So how did you get titans in the station in the first place??? Me wants this ability so I can have an aeon again and park it in the station when not in use or the ability to market or contract it to avoid being scammed.

How about that improvement then?

cool stuff

does this only work for the assets window or also for the hangar filter?

(meta level filtering!)

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

But still no SMA and corp hangar search for wormholes dwellers.

I"m afraid this is out of scope for what I have been working on but I'll raise the issue.

This is a great update!
I understand that you can't add everything you want, but adding this ability is very helpful for those who can learn to use it!

Thanks :)

Love the changes. Please add a "trash noobships" function.

Thank you.

So this is what CCP calls usability? How is this even remotely friendly to new players who don't know about metagroups, categories and item groups? What?

What about adding a search interface similar to the one for the contracts?

That is sort of the point. The initial change was to simplify the interface. We don't want to clutter our interface with every conceivable search term in an assortment of tick boxes and drop down menus. When most people don't understand half of the options. Yet we want to allow power users to have access to those options. I agree that more can be done to present players with what options are available and we have plans to improve that.

Also, the minimum size of the asset window can now be a lot smaller.

Need... 50... pixels... more. I mean c'mon there is still plenty of space to cut.

Seems to be pretty powerful extension but can't imagine someone to have so much cluttered assets to need even fraction of available options. But it's so much better than having myriad of input boxes.

That is a bit unfair. A packaged titan can't have a unique name. When I take them out for a spin I'll give them a proper deserving name and smash some horrendously expensive bottle for the occasion... every time.

They did have to remove parts of the station to park the vessel but it all worked out fine in the end.

Have one reimbursed. They spawn them in station.

Search around there are screenshots.

Neat, would it be possible to allow asset search to look inside station containers?

I use station cans a lot to organize my items; the game can lag for me when having to load 500+ icons in one inventory, so being able to only open the can I need is invaluable, but then I can't search my assets when off-station, and have to use the 'view container contents' feature, which for some reason has no search bar, or most of the table cols you can enable in regular inventories.

Could parts of this keyword feature also be implemented in the Filter in hangars and container windows? Like if you have a container full of loot, you could type in the Filter metalevel:4 for example.

Would also be very usefull if the asset search could search for items inside containers or ship cargohold with keywords like container:true and cargo:true ? I'm asking this cause I find it a bit funny that 3'rd party applications can do that based on the API information, but the in-game search can't (at least the old one couldn't, haven't got around to test this new one yet).

If this is generally well received we will be looking in to introducing filtering this to other places like corp assets and even inventory filters.

As for the cargo and containers that has to do with nested database queries (read: lots of DB load) but why it differs from the 3rd party API is something I'll look into. Won't make any promises about that though.

Neat! Thanks crazy looking Icelander chick! (CCP Punkteris)
I don't see myself using all that, but as long as I can MASH KEYS > ENTER and find my stuff; win.

Can we get the industry window done next? That thing is HUGE and I can't make it shrink, no matter how much I play with it.

This, very very much this.

And while you're at it, could you simply copy and paste this code into the Corp Assets search box? That'd be all kinds of useful.
