Thank you for the compliment and the suggestion, Erotica 1. That's very nice of you to say. Big smile

The interest rate is quite feasible without question. The way you are doing the "set aside funds in case the Fit hits the Shan" is kinda cool. And good on you for keeping the investments low. Good to start small and since you are doing it for fun that will prevent the ordeal from becoming a 9-5.

Good luck with the endeavor. And have a blast! I may very well jump in with you at a later time when I am not being invested in myself. I'm not comfortable with being lent money and investing in this form of banking at the same time.

PROSPECTUS

Example:
Customer 1 deposits 100,000,000 ISK.
Customer 2 deposits 10,000,000 ISK.
BFAR invests 50,000,000 ISK
The total investment pool is 160,000,000 ISK.

Customer 1 receives 62.5% of any profit.
Customer 2 receives 6.25%.
BFAR receives 31.25%.

A profit of 100,000,000 ISK would be allotted as follows:
62,500,000 ISK to Customer 1
6,250,000,000 ISK to Customer 2
31,250,000 ISK to BFAR

Not a bad payday for customer 2 with his 10m deposit :D

I swear I wasn't customer 2.

See Bio for isk doubling rules. If you didn't read bio, chances are you funded those who did.

EDIT: Thanks for taking the time to read over the Prospectus and for catching my error. I've made an edit to it based on your comment. Big smile

DEPOSIT INSURANCE
BFAR maintains a separate wallet division with an ISK ballance equal to the sum total of all customer deposits.

since my amazing comments have been removed i will rephrase

credit to elizabeth for coming up with this in the other bank thread that's going through the motions atm.

i would like to deposit with you my wallet balance API

its an incredibly usefull added layer of security and it'll be much easier to withdraw isk that way!
and this means there is no need to increase the balance in your insurance wallet, since it's still sitting there under my control.

in case my liquid isk balance is to much or volatile for your liking i'm sure we can set something up with an alt for balance stability.

BFAR does not service more accounts than it is capable of insuring with this wallet division.

This means you are running a charity rather than a business and what you are doing has nothing at all to do with being a bank. You are paying people to give you isk and pretend that you are managing it on their behalf. I have nothing against imaginary projects and if you really want to give away the isk you earn to people who aren't contributing then by all means go ahead. However, since you have absolutely no need whatsoever to actually take anyone's isk from them if you just want to give your isk away, your decision to use an imaginary project as a means to get your hands on other peoples' isk looks potentially suspect.

There is absolutely no need to actually take public isk to do the charitable work that you are doing.

I'm just saying that there is no need to waste Mummy's expensive Darjeeling or risk her best teapot when the power of imagination is more than able to conjure up these as well.

Thank you for recognizing the potential for this to turn into a job.

Having done this kind of thing before, we know how much of a drag it can turn into.

It would be very nice to add you to our list of customers.

There are only two slots remaining, but since they will not be filled for a couple months you will have the opportunity to evaluate your position before deciding to join up or not.

Best of luck to you in your current investment endeavors.

Cool

Seeing as Erotica 1 has endorsed this service, if you ever add a sixth customer, or a spot opens, I have a spare hundred million.
