As everyone knows "you never go full ******".

after reading the new Dev blog that just came out i have come to see some good things and some really, really bad things.
https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=337246&p=1 I am placing this forum post under crime and punishment because i think what CCP is doing is a crime against not only industrialists in EVE but EVERYONE in eve.

The grand scale of things is this

CCP awhile ago tried to introduce Micro transactions with the Incarna expansion in order to make more Real World Money, and as a Ex business owner i completley understand the bottom line. Because of what Micro transactions would have done to the game 5k players stood up and said NO!

CCP still being a business is of course going to look for alternative ways of Making money and they figured it out. There Plan is to cause prices of PlEX to skyrocket because of Odyssey and it's Dual character training http://community.eveonline.com/news/dev-blogs/dual-character-training/ . after the Plex Prices stabilized they checked the bank and realised it wasn't enough so they decided to come out with Ship Paint http://community.eveonline.com/news/dev-blogs/ship-painting-pilot-program/ . yeh i know we wanted ship paint but not like this P

So Miles how does this Effect EVERYONE like you state?

well for those that can't live on EVE this will cause them to break out the credit/debit card which is great for CCP ... they meet some magical number they want in there bank but they fail to see the entire picture. For those that Leave EVE do to the fact they can't afford to pay with a credit or debit card they take In game and out of game content with them (more empty regions less market competition less pvping less guides websites forums blogs less news about eve just less in general).

this upcoming Expansion has great Industrial UI .... thats about all the good stuff i see. the loss of the ability to remotley research and remotley manufacture for Industrialists is just going to cause 1 man corps to spring up even more then currently (for those that can afford to run several accounts researching/manufacturing) , this will also increase the amount of war decs to remove the POS's that litter moons as well as trying to get POS's to drop BPO's.

As a Side effect of needing to replace stolen or ganked bpo's because you now need to take them to the POS it will increase the cost of BPO's/BPC's as well as EVERY single thing in EVE, an additional side effect is even more people leaving the game because at this point they will not beable to sustain eve without a credit/debit card.

As I slipped my finger slowly inside her hole, I could immediately feel it getting wetter and wetter.

I took my finger back out and within seconds she was going down on me.

"I really need a new boat," I thought to myself.

War is good for business, and business is good. You should also be making your concerns known in the appropriate thread, not in C&P.

Bullshit, I've seen PLEX prices increase threefold since I started Eve, people are still paying for their game time through their efforts ingame, and will continue to do so. It's not like £10/$15/€15 a month is going to break the bank for anybody who can't raise enough ISK to purchase PLEX ingame, that's not even beer money.

*1000 units or more, conditions may or may not apply. May or may not contain actual tin foil depending on how drunk the overseers at my sweatshop Amarr manufacturing plant are and whether or not I've bothered to pay my supplier. Price is entirely at my discretion, the more you haggle, the higher it goes. Offer expires when I say it does.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

I honestly don't understand what the issue is?

Plex prices are mostly due to the fact that ISK is alot easier to make now. Don't forget the time of the year either. Fanfest guys can use their ingame isk to buy plex to pay for their fanfest tickets. Alliance can also use plex to pay for their tournament entries.

That is one shyte load of plex and every year this time plex prices rose up alot.

If you complain about the rise of plex price, watch out the price of pos fuel soon .

Because getting stuff out of a POS under siege in High sec is hard I guess? My industrialist has always done research and manufacturing with the blue print at the POS. Also you get a 24 hour notice to clear your POS of anything valuable... Anyone who loses blueprints to a war-dec is an idiot and deserves to lose their ****...

It could have something to do with that 24 million dollar failure called WoD they might be trying to get some money back from.

Honestly, you are making way to big of a deal out of this. Mostly no one gives two ***** about your bpo's in some backwater Hi-Sec system. You just aren't that important. The only people who really need to worry are the ones who draw attention to themselves with hilariously bad posts like this one.

i'm one of the people that live on eve 8-14 hr days normaly Big smile
there is no QQ here and the point is not about me and what i need to deal with inorder to get around what CCP is throwing at us i've already figured out some of it and am starting to implement the workarounds already the point is not everyone will beable to deal with the changes and are going to in effect die out taking player content with them.

As I slipped my finger slowly inside her hole, I could immediately feel it getting wetter and wetter.

The bottom line here is that you posted this in the wrong forum if you want sympathy. Post in the Dev Blog thread. Anywhere else and you're just troll food.

Personally, as someone who mines at their keyboard with only one account... I'm loving the PLEX price hike. It means fewer bot fleets to compete with.

Um, we told CCP that we wouldn't stand for anything other than vanity items in the Aurim store. We also told them that $70 for a single item was insane.

So now they want to make some extra $$$ by selling ship paint (Vanity Item) at around, whats the price? a buck? a couple of bucks?

Why all the Broo-Ha-Ha??? Good for CCP.

I will admit PLEX prices have gone up quite a bit in the last year. I don't think it will be the death of Eve though

..I actually wonder if that 21m (and investment in DUST) could have instead given us an EvE v2.0 re-write, with an infinitely scalable & dynamic resource-allocating architecture (i.e. No TiDi)

Ultimately though the OP mis-interpreted the rage against microtransactions, it wasn't about microtransactions per se' -- it was about microtransactions as pay to win. i.e. Game play affecting purchases.

Microtransactions for purely cosmetic features (i.e. ship skins) are just fine thank you, and no issue.

p.s.
Who do I have to pay to get an alliance logo on the side of my ships, or better yet a kill count of skulls like fighter pilots in WWII had? (grumble)
