I spend most of my time ingame in Caldari systems, but the nebulae are so draaab compared to Amarr for example, no eye candy to make you go; "Wow", just a half-done drab environment.

CCP we know you hate caldari cos you ruined the Phoenix Dread, but please, put at least some resemblance of effort into embellishing caldari systems, theyre depressing to look at Cry

Nothing is as deppresing as a minmitar station interior. I avoid them if I can.

Eve has graphics?

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

Well... it's boring blue.

I think that fits perfectly for easymode caldari ships.

You will also note that the southern hemisphere stars are a mirror image of the northern hemisphere stars.

Gosh CCP, Its so drab in space. Cant you put out some throw pillows and maybe a festive rug? Maybe even a glass vase with some paperwhites.. and a candle here and there? How about a reclaimed wagonwheel that we can use as a coffee table? Oh! Maybe some granite counter tops and a faux weathered cabinet finish? Im really liking this Marrigold color.. maybe we can use a contrasting Mint as the trim with brass hardware for a dramatic feel? Maybe we can make a fusion of neo-post modern and traditional craftsman styles?

Sorry..I fell asleep last night while the wife was watching HGTV.. this is all just stuck in my brain.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

They may not be eye candy, but they sure fit the Caldari design philosophy.

I will sit in any station and be content unless it is Gallente . . . that weird voice still gets me from time to time.

Considering that in real space you can't normally even see any stars if there is a planet in your field of view, and that in the visible spectrum nebula are mostly color-less and vague (seriously, nature shafted us when it comes to the right visual range for appreciating the cosmos) I'd say they're quite pretty.

Things are only impossible until they are not.

You obviously haven't been to the centre of the milky way Roll

It looks nice and bright from here looking thru hubble anyway, and that may well be where the Eve player base is stuck forever according to lore ......

You've been to the center of the milky way? That's pretty cool.

Also, nope. Those nebula only look that dense from really far away (because there's more gas to see through), from the inside they are more pale.

I advise you to look at the original Apollo mission photos and notice the distinct lack of stars, they are too dim to be visible near any significant light source.

Things are only impossible until they are not.

The Caldari are a drab people. A product of their environment, I suppose.
