Why doesn't the Gila get the Worm bonuses and why won't the RS get the Gila and Worm bonuses?

Did I miss the release of the new BS stats?
Also, they are different ships. They shouldn't be radically different, meaning there should be a progression, but the Gila shouldn't just be a bigger Worm.

Which is why (proposed) Gila bonuses do not apply to light drones.

I was thinking more along the lines of a straight translation, as in 2 drones with the same bonuses, all Gurista hulls restricted to 2 drones.

yes. It is a ridiculous change that kills all their versatility. If they were a more popular ship you would see alot more complaints. The only people who like them are those who won't fly them. After the "ohh shiny" factor wears off you will never see them because medium and heavy drones still suck even with the changes.

because if the gila is just a better worm it would deprecate the worm.

That being said, while I think it would be interesting to have a role bonus that they can only use 2 drones but get a 300% damage bonus to those drones, but that would make the Gila super overpowered against frigates.

Also if you want a solo battleship may I introduce you to my friend the vindicator? Perhaps you'd like to meet his old enemy the bhaalgorn?

i cant see what your complaining about with the Gila. from what i can tell you can get roughly 620 dps (3 drone Damage amps & Lvl 4 racial drone skill) with great tracking & mobility compared to previously 779 dps and slow as hell.

The drones themselves have insane ehp, the mediums will easily

I do think though with the loss of the missile projection bonus you will be limited in the extra DPS missles can make up, really it needs that bonus.

I think you have to really hold off full judgement untill the BS changes are out. Simply because if they just continue the line from the gila & give it a 500% bonus, the rattle snake will be dealing 1.2k dps with 2 drones that have the tank of a cruiser. CCP really need to consider that bonus carefully because if they want it to seem "balanced" they cant have ships in the same race where this might happen; Frig 300% bonus Cruiser 500% bonus Battleship 150% bonus. it would just seem unjust.
