Obstergo [-XWX-] is the redcoat menace welping wormholes today! We are a ragtag assortment of Americans and northern neighbors finding fun in the various holes of anoikis. We are pretty awful, and American, but if you enjoy playing EVE instead of working in EVE, then we are probably your cup of tea.

We try our very best to limit the amount of rules our members must adhere, to maximize individuality and ensuring our members enjoy their game and our community. Like any large group, we have our loud members, drama, trolling, and shenanigans, but our shenanigans are cheeky and fun!

We have requirements, but please note that our requirements are not to promote any elitist environment, as our community and environment is the most important part of Obstergo. Our requirements are to ensure that each member is capable of supporting one another and that no members are behind the power curve.

Each application is case-by-case, so if you feel you meet the requirements and are interested in joining the Obstergo community, please feel free to stop by our public channel, ObstergoNET or send one of our recruiters a mail.

Still looking for recruits.

If it wasn't implied enough by the carefree demeanor of GeneralJosh, we do look at applications for those new to wormhole space as well. However, the bar is set higher for newbros:

1. Don't be a dumbass. Use the brain you were born with. If you don't, I personally will beg for the roles to kick you the hell out.
2. Ask questions. Lots of questions! Stupid questions. We may give you stupid answers but chances are with any given topic that we will have the patience to give you an answer without being deathly sarcastic.
3. Be willing to learn. Pretty simple.
4. Don't be an absolute bear. We traditionally are focused on PvP but we understand during the slow days that those are the best times to make some isk (to keep pewing stuff).
5. If you can't fly it yet, and we require you be able to, train for it (dem Ishtars, hint).
6. Get comfortable with scanning. If there isn't much you can do role-wise within a fleet, you will be scanning, a lot.

I joined Obstergo with a whopping 4m sp as a completely new EVE player just about two years ago. The best ship I could fly was a Dominix, and a T3 was but a dream. As time went on, I trained for multiple ships including capitals, I learned a lot, and basically grew up as a player in an environment which required the greatest vigilance and discipline to just stay alive. The people I flew with then and continue to fly with today I got to know very well, and we are for all intents and purposes a family.

If it sounds to you like you are up to the challenge, we invite you to join Obstergo. Join our pub channel (ObstergoNET), get in contact with a recruiter, and show us what you are capable of.

What is your static, and what kind of ships do you need for PvE stuff? And what is your most commonly flown PvP ship?

We have a C5 static.

For pve there are wide ranges of ships you can use. If you are escalating c5/c6s you need dreads, carriers, lokis ect. For gas clearing you need ships to clear the site and then ventures.

Probably the most commonly flown pvp ships are strategic cruisers.

Hope this answers your questions!
