The Naga is fantastic as it is right now, it's one of the few truly good Caldari hybrid ships. There can be just two reasons why someone might not like it:

- he doesn't realise the niche the new tier 3s are made for
- he never chose to train up hybrids because "caldari only uses missiles" and is now bawling

Pretty much this.

the naga is not a bad blaster boat too the optimal range bonus (meant for rails) actually works out nicely on blasters too :)

it being a shield tank means it moves quicker than an armor tanked bc would.

it means u can fit one less tracking enhancer and fit an extra mag stab instead.

Nope.

The torp version was downright silly, and the Caldari need more hybrid ships anyway. Also, Mini-Rokh for those of us who will never fly battleships = win! P

Yeah, beacuse the Rokh sees so much action these days. Don't get me wrong, I love the Rokh, but it really doesn't get called for much. However, if you say the torp Naga was silly, I don't have the experience to contradict you there. It sounded fun to me though.

I know what you mean. I was sad when I logged onto Sisi and found that my precious new battlecruiser was no longer a torp battlecruiser. I mean, its a TORP BATTLECRUISER! Something like that could only be more awesome if it had **** and was on fire.

But "betrayed" no, in the end its probably better. Battleship sized missile weapons are severly lacking and I trust that the hybrid balancing has made them more viable and comparable to other turrets.

All warfare is based on deception and logistics. Battles and soldiers are secondary priorities.

Nope, I'm perfectly happy with the Naga. Just train up them hybrids and you'll have two tier 3 BCs to choose from, not just one.

Well the Mahabarata told you they were the persecutors of all creatures, and were deceitful. Why did you trust them?

I would never trust a Naga.

By the way, since we're already talking, do you want to buy a rifter? I've got the cheapest rifters in Metropolis. If you can find a cheaper rifter, buy it!

Dude, that was WAY too cerebral for these forums.

You can use high meta large rails/blasters in a couple days.

T2 may take a month longer.

Hmm... how effective would they be at a pos bash?

I may need to rethink this... but then again, there are all those supplimentary skills needed as well for effective gunning.

Must ponder... must ponder...

So, you trained only one weapon system, and this is the basis of your argument for a missile Naga?

You purposefully limited your options.

And to be honest, rails can do better than torps on large POSs. Do you know why?

Not a diplo.

The above post was edited for spelling.

My raven does OK... have to kiss the force field, but they get in there for their fair share.

To be fair... I'd considered the naga off the Christmas list due to only training missiles, yes. I'm also willing to admit that I've just shifted my training focus now (on my combat pilot, not this one) to guns. May take a bit to excel, but I think it's worth the look.

Winmatar keep winning but I have to approve the 1 single rotating armor plate which has been mounted to Naga. That makes it so much harder to gank.
