The session timer was reduced for docking, I believe, not anything else.

i have also 30sec for docking / undocking.

and for gate jumping, fleet joining / living, etc.

and this change was for everything, see the blog ; http://www.eveonline.com/devblog.asp?a=blog&nbid=3050

touborg told me it should be 20 on twitter.
but i tested dozen of times, i have 30sec everywhere, and it's not only the icon who's wrong, as i have the error message if i try an action before the 30sec end

I stand corrected. I wonder If I can get reimbursed for blowing up do to the session timer not changing properly... stupid shuttles that warp too fast in hi-sec.

You may have noticed that Jita died at patch day.

If you take all the sand out of the box, only the cat poo will remain.

Yes, it's still at thirty seconds for everyone. Too lazy to find the devpost, but i'm pretty sure they said it'll remain at thirty until they're comfortable with the health of TQ post-patch (you may have noticed a spot of lag in Jita, for example) and then they'll lower it

The official change was from 30 to 20 seconds which you were informed correctly but the switch has not been flipped yet.

The post that was referred to was this one

The session change timer will be changed in a few days when the dust has settled.

I'm sorry but we were not informed even remotely correctly. Per the notes "The session change timer has been changed from 30 seconds to 20 seconds" This is an unambiguous statement that the change occurred and was implemented in the patch. This is obviously not the case and is important to know these facts.

You should be honest with the communications and instead say "we plan to change the session timer from 30 seconds to 20 seconds sometimes SoonTM. That is at least more honest to pilots.
