Are there other hardwiring "elements" that give a boost to attributes, such as the one gifted that boosts perception?

Not talking about implants, just hardwiring.

Implants == hardwiring. Check out all the implants available to you here..

@HH : while all hardwirings are implants, not all implants are usually called "hardwirings". The convention is that hardwirings are those things that go into slots 6 through 10, while the "other"//"learning"//"attribute" implants go into slots 1 through 5.

The redeemable implant looks like it's part of a larger set, but so far, it has ONLY been released in a very limited quantity (one per active account) with no other source at this time and no other implants from the set available yet.
It's also only tradeable via contracts, not via the market, at least for now.
I am reasonably certain that at some point in the future the rest of the set will be introduced too... be it also as redeemable implants, or maybe LP shop rewards, or maybe even as NEX items, who knows, only time will tell.

We'll just have to wait and see.

P.S. still @HH : the redeemable implant the OP talks about is not yet listed in there, and it SHOULD be in the "attribute" implants category but its NAME says "Hardwiring - Genolution Core Augmentation CA-1".
It's a +3 perception implant that also grants a 1.5% powergrid bonus, 1.5% capacitor bonus and a x1.5 set bonus.

Quote:

Traits
Slot 1
Boosts perception by 3
Provides +1.5% powergrid bonus
Provides +1.5% capacitor amount bonus
Implant set bonus: 50%

Development
The modestly titled “Core Augmentation” implant set was developed by Genolution with the assistance of implantation specialists and other leaders in the field of neural augmentation, some of whom have long been rumored to be SoCT alumni.

The CA-1 is a rarity in the often hyper-specialized industry of neural augmentations. It provides a dual function; tapping into both the occipital lobe for a perception boost, and also the neocortex, for improving the brain’s handling of a ship’s energy and capacitor needs. Like the infamous pirate implant sets found on capsuleer markets, each implant is also designed to work at higher levels when integrated into a neural implant network.

Though many in the augmentation industry initially questioned the agenda behind Genolution’s entry into the implantation field, fears eventually subsided as the implant was shown to be one of the safest on record. Genolution went one step further to assuage fears however and vowed never to release the implant to open markets, providing only a single-run issue to capsuleers as a demonstration of the technology.

Yeah, Akita's right ..

I think in one of the devblogs they said it's a 2-implant set, and the other one should be coming soon(tm) as part of Crucible...
