Durzel the developer of wormhol.es has released the source code for people to use since he wont work on it anymore due to RL problems.
Great of him, but now we need someone to keep it going!

Going to post here because the other thread is just a big argument already. It was suggested there, but wanted to highlight it again here, perhaps we can create some kind of group to keep working on this?

Like a few people who want to, I know the basics but not enough to add new features etc... I have already produced a version which works on Apache servers, and a database dump which combines all the dumps provided by Durzel and removed a couple of the larger tables which aren't needed. Sadly I ran into a wall when it turned out my website host doesn't have memcache installed.

I also have another couple of questions about the general running of it I would like to ask. So perhaps some kind of group or whatever would be good?

Unbeknowst to me Eve-Kill EPIC API stopped working a while ago, which would mean that out of the box wormhol.es wouldn't work at all in terms of providing intel. It would as a minimum need to be refactored to use the new Zkill API - though this shouldn't be too hard.

I have a copy of all the cache files that wormhol.es currently uses, unfortunately this file zipped is over 1GB so I don't know where I can practically upload this to.

Torrent dl or something in similiar? People that dl should have the decency of atleast providing a 1.0 ratio and therefore keeping the torrent alive.
If that's not an option I guess I could chuck it on one of my servers but then I would throttle the DL speed. Or you could be evil and UL it to Evees Teamspeak :D
