The beat is very nice, but as I commented on the video, the time when rappers knew how to rhyme is long gone :/

This is where it is at.

So simple yet so much more competeant than 95% of the rap that is out there.

EDIT: RAP stands for rhythm and poetry....unfortuantely most of the 'rappers' today have no clue about the poetry part.

Here is another of my favorite raps. Who can give props to Ghost Rider and the Street Car Named Desire in two consecutive lines Big smile

Oh and these guys drop props to the Movie The Guns of Navarone...one of my favorite old school WWII movies.

Awesome song none the less and it takes me wayyyy back!!!

EDIT: P.S. I did not say that Hold was my favorite KRS-One song. It is just a very simple example of how easy it is to rhyme and use word play to write a rap, yet the youth today fail at it miserably.

If you want my favorite KRS-One song this is probably it, but this is a close second as it is just a tad bit too serious to be a favorite.

Yeah sorry about that, video isn't bad, not really my taste but there's far worse out there that are raking in the cash.

Silver Bullet and Young MC are from the real early days, Silver Bullet is British and famously used samples from the original Robocop in his single "20 seconds to comply", Young MC is American and a bit of a one album wonder but has done stuff with other artists.
