Help, the guristas are being crammed into a niche that is useless!

I think the reason why the guristas ships are fecked is the underlieing problem of thier allocation in skills.
What i mean by this is the racial mix for skills & therefore the traits they lean to. examples

Daredevil/Vigilant/Vindi - Gallente & Mimmatar -Blasters+Web boost- good ship
Curor/Ashi/Bhaalgorn - Amarr & Minmmatar - Neuts+Webs - good ship
Dram/Cynabal/Mach - Mimmatar & Gallente - speed Flexability & dps - good ship

Succubus/Phantasm/Nightmare - Amarr & Caldari - Sheilds & Lasers (low gun count) - good 4 one thing PVE

Worm/Gila/Rattlesnake - Gallente & Caldari - Hard Shield & drones - good for nothing

Basicly if you combine anything with Caldari for PVP you just get worse.

The good PVP boats belong to the races with the good bonuses due to historical attributes. to make these ships good you have to break this history of failing skills of the caldari race.

To the person slinging insults, clearly you have nothing to contribute to the convo go home. Grow a DOT of maturity please, or don't try to 'contrubute' to the discussion. There is not a bit of 'crying' going on in this thread, I'm saying they are stripping a ship out of a role and leaving nothing to fill it instead of creating new ships when we are absolutely ****** for new ships these days.
Battlecruisers used to have one viable advanced bc, cruisers have 5 viable advanced cruisers. The t3's now somewhat take over the command ship role, so we need more battlecruisers and these should be used to fit new roles first, instead of just arbitrarily stripping ships from their roles.
Diversity is the problem, not some bullshit crying over a ship that causes you to flame someone with not a single intelligible sentence in your head. Grow a brain and stop mashing F1 for a living, there's other game play besides drop drones, attack, f1 and orbit that so many ships use. You posts make me feel sorry for you as a hum...wait...you're not human. Nevermind, you're a tool.

To those of you saying that the gila is useless, try fighting an ishtar versus a gila. The gila will win if you have two pilots that know what they are doing. The gila accels at killing smaller vessels while still being able to deal with large ones, the ishtar accels at being able to kill large vessels while still being able to deal with small ones. Two different mentalities.

Most people are happy with the new changes. They are good changes. Gila is boring and under-used in its current form.
If you don't like the changes then don't buy the ship. Stick with your Ishtar if you want a cruiser-sized sentry drone platform.

I'm very excited about all of the new changes, I just wish I had more isk so I could buy one of every new pirate ship!


EDIT. If they would just make light/medium sized sentry drones it would really be a win-win!

That awkward moment at the Gentlemen's Club when you see your sister on the stage....and you're not sure where to put the money....

PLEX are currently selling for roundabout 740 million ISK. That should nab you at least a couple of them.

so, its not like the navy vexor fills the role(s) you're complaining about or anything...

Oh and btw now they really just made the gila better at what you claim it was already good at, taking out small ships.

The only thing that maybe could be a tad better is if they gave it 25 bandwidth, so it could still only field 2 mediums but also 5 lights.
