Save Fitting, delete fitting, apply fitting - wait...where's Buy Fitting?

Seriouisly, CCP, is common sense stuff like this hard to come by among 500 brilliant-minded Islandics? Ok, Im being a little harsh but pls take initiative like you have done while overlooking the MOST useful, SIMPLE user interface changes.

When it came to the handicapp or disabled person's access, you only took 24 hours to fix the error, which I am very grateful of! Can EVERYONE, however, please be allowed to benefit from a new button called "buy fit" in the fitting browser?

To avoid scamming or unwanted response, this button should have the same programming function used for the "buy" button on the details tab of each module in market browser WHILE warning of the usual "severely overpriced" items as it buys the fits, all while including another link/button to view sell order details of the overpriced items it warns of. Give it a memory of details reviewed in the last few minutes so that it only warns of items NOT reviewed within this specified amount of time OR where there is more than 5% increase since the last time the item's sell orders were reviewed.

For calculating the quantity of each item it buys, it should act the same function as using Apply fit; it should buy enough to fill the hangar up to the quantity of each module in the fit...simple as pie!

So, when I use this new button BUY FITTING, it should:

  1. buy the quantity of items I do not have in hangar to completely fit the ship of the saved fitting.

  2. It should warn OF EACH overpriced module, as it does when you try to buy something manually, and its warning should have the cost along with the name of the item, listed on it; as you tell it to buy each overpriced item, through a Buy button on the warning window, it should keep these items in memory until the cost to buy it is more than 5% above the last time it was warned of. This is so people can't exploit it as a scam, so that it doesn't have different results than buying each item manually, and so that people dont do things by accident. It should also have an Ignore or Cancel button on the warning window so that you can tell it to not buy either of the overpriced items but continue to buy/review the fit on the market.

DONT FORGET TO MAKE THE WARNING WINDOW, AMONG ALL OTHER WINDOWS, TO NOT STEAL FOCUS AND CAUSE YOU TO DIE WHEN YOU GET MESSAGED OR BUYING FIT!

You could just right-click on an item, click "View Market Details" at the bottom and buy the item. And repeat this for each item in the fitting. It's about the same as doing it automatically one-at-a-time, which is what would happen when everything is overpriced like it usually is in EVE.

What is the basis for buying an item? Best price in region? System? Station? What about items? Items are sold by individual players, so everything in the fit would need to be drawn from individual sell orders, possibly several, due to insufficient item quantities being sold. This seems like pain to program and sort out.

It's not like buying items for a fit is particularly RSI inducing. I would much rather see CCP work on something that truely requires too much clicking before this. Like, say, D-scan.

Also, this topic gets suggested all the time. Personally, I don't see the appeal. Namely because I've spent hours slamming D-scan before, so taking the time to shop for my fits doesn't bother me.

You have a problem with reading and comprehension...it says to have a memory of things you've already reviewed within x minutes and buy anyway as long as the price has not dramatically increased over certain percentage. CCP could even allow you to set this percentage in the market settings!

It also says to allow it to continue to review the fit and not stop the macro between each overpriced module, as in you click the BUY FITTING button ONE time and it continues processing UNTIL you have decided on every overpriced module in the fit and the others are in stock! Once you have reviewed those specific items in that station and the cost doesnt change drastically, you can go to another fit that has the same modules you have reviewed and NOT be prompted again, within x amount of time you or ccp sets.

You will MOST Likely use this in a trading hub where these common items will not be scamming because, dUh, you wont use this button to buy a ship with 500 million rare modules over and over, to have copies of with intent oflosing and replacing quickly! SO, you will be buying fits that have items used on 50% of ships, which will have plenty of competition.

Actually, I have a problem with reading ideas that have already been presented.

You know, like this one.
