Sure.

Are two examples. I never bring in my carrier until their dreads are no longer a threat. In the first case, I didn't bring in my carrier at all until everything was dead. In the second case, I brought my carrier and legions in after I killed their carriers so I could whore on the dread mails with them. The legions never even get shot until the fight is over anyway so warping in the carrier is really a formality and I just sit it there without breaking it's invul so it can't be shot after landing for a little bit anyway.

Not that it matters in these cases anyway since my carrier wouldn't have died to those fleets, but better safe than sorry v0v.

Oh yea, and here is an example where my bubbler actually dies near the end because I wasn't paying attention to it.

In ur links amount of Lokis are 0 and 1 when u actually loose it, that make sense imo. Normally when we drop we have 1-2 on grid, so if they catch sabre ( yes normally they can't but) we r pretty much screwed. Yesterday we had 2 Lokis and 1 legion, so keeping alive hd and support was an issue. Btw nice links;)

No, all of those fights had at least one loki in them. Because I do this by myself, I don't bother trying to point their lokis because it's too much of a hassle to try to deal with webbing and keeping their lokis tackled, so they usually don't show up on the battlereports.

In most cases, the lokis bail like the cowards they are as soon as they manage to burn out of my bubble. In virtually all cases what happens is that I land my dictor in the site, and gets webbed by the loki. But they don't ever have points or have any dps and it's trivial to get out of the site in time. My dictor only ever dies in sites when I'm not actively paying attention and forgot to burn it away and warp after bubbling because I'm dealing with my dreads.

I suppose if somebody is prepared they can easily kill the dictor, but in most cases I feel that the people just start to massively panic when they get a bubble dropped on them, and even if my dictor dies immediately, they usually are not concerned with killing the pod, so I just get out of the bubble and get a new dictor from my carrier.

Anyway, my main point is that I just don't feel it's worth risking a carrier to keep a dictor alive. I think that you would have been perfectly fine if those dreads were armor fit and not shield fit. From reading the AAR posted on this forum as well it looks they shot one of your nags first so I guess it doesn't matter that you brought the nid in.

I was just making the assumption they primaried your carrier as soon as possible since they knew it had a significantly weaker tank than your nags, and that the only threat to their fleet was being neuted by subcaps since they were shield tanked and could easily tank the ~30k dps your fleet was doing.

You are right in general, but as usual devil hides in details. I would like to stop at this point becouse after we can jump on some Intels what I prefer to keep private. Regarding yesterday fight, yes we did some critical mistakes, but nid on grid is not one of them imo.

You can also put a point on your dreads if youre just using those.

Not surprised this happened.

Bringing in a nid that can only tank 40k dps overloaded is not smart when they have 4 moros and a nag. TBH I don't know why they bring in the carrier at all until they need subcaps (which they don't need while they kill the enemy dreads).

Probably to keep bubblers alive

Let me tell you how warp disrupt probes last for 2 minutes and you don't need to keep your dictor on field 100% of the time. I assure you it's very possible to keep a cap fleet bubbled in an escalation long enough to kill their dreads with a dictor that never receives reps.

Sure if you have a decent dictor pilot it might work (although with a couple vigilants on the grid idk ...). I was just offering a theory :P

The biggest lesson that needs to be learned is how to tell the difference between Quantum Explosion and Blood Union lol.

I for one welcome both these entities and their play style. They give very unique content to WSpace, why add random sleeper spawns when you got these guys filling that role much more efficiently?

Good fight to both sides and I look forward to the chance we get to fight them again, no matter the outcome.
