Wait.... what? There's actual quotes from the Pax Amarria?

I need to brush up on my EVE Online Lore so I can properly RP my strong dislike of the Amarr, or something like that. If I can be bothered. Probably not, but I should never the less. Just in case.

Surrender is still your slightly less painful option.

I have not been to a professional baseball game in about 30 years. Do they still say a prayer after the National Anthem ? They were of course always Christian prayers, despite the Muslim players and other "non-believers" present. The Boy Scouts, iirc, were always about Christian prayers only "to serve God and my country...and obey the law of the Pack".

So, yes, in America at least, Christians do have an overwhelming monopoly, unfortunately.

"Our Lord visited his flock and saw that all was not good.
Blasphemy and heresy ruled the land.
The Lord punished the sinners and drowned them in their own blood.
But the people of Amarr lived righteously and in fear of God.
Thus they were saved and became God's chosen."
- The Scriptures, Book II 2:1

Yeah there are a few quotes from the Pax Amarria.

It's funny how the people who claim to be the most religious are always the ones who have the most insecurity about their religions.

ZOMG!!! Someone parodied/posted a piece of contradictory scripture of my religion...Plays the crying victim card...... It's comically ineffective.

As Krix pointed out, if this is not a troll, I want to know the angle. My guess is this is one of those protestant christians that do not believe Catholicism is a Christian religion and is not happy how Christianity is portrayed in the game Big smile

EDIT: I go with troll as they have not returned yet. We crossed the bridge too quickly lol

I'm a Baptist (not really a practicing one, whatever) that was raised Catholic (broke away, because some of them are a bunch of loonies), who married to a "proper" Catholic girl like my mommy wanted me to.

While I like a good Fire and Brimstone sermon like the next Baptist, I sometimes enjoy going to a Catholic church with the wife.

As to how religion is portrayed in this and other games? Get over it you loony. It's a game, a fantasy, whatever. Geez, if God, The Flying Spaghetti Monster, whoever didn't want us to be happy and have fun, then why, pray tell do we have the capacity to laugh? Or feel and show emotions for that reason.

Ah hell, I'm feeding the troll aren't I? Curse you Jack and coke........

Maybe we should backup this thread and see if maybe we ran over the troll?

It may have been moved here, but it would have also been locked in the process Pirate
