I'm sure you'll get enough positive comments, that's why i'll focus on the things that bothers me

1. Salvaging and the loot all button is a half baked idea from people who don't salvage.

We still have to go through the motion of opening each container, going up and down the screen 35 times.

We gave you plenty of good ideas to eliminate this gruesome clickfest

-Auto-loot option on salvage module
-Shortcut key to open container in the overview
-Drag and drop of multiple containers from the overview to the cargohold

2. Strange behavior from all windows

- Can't pin them anymore
- Chat windows disappearing on log in
- Portrait unloading for unknown reason (getting gray portraits)
- Minimizing chat windows might cause the window to appear in double
[...]

3. The jukebox is playing 1 song then browses all songs at lightning speed into an infinite loop. This bug has been going on for over a year now. Still not fixed !?

Whats up gents... so quick issue im usually pretty quiet...

Removal of the search assets by minimum and maximum quantity...... OUCH

my market tendancies change day by day and while i know i shouldnt have assets in 200 different stations, i buy and sell allot and its the nature of trades. Being able to sort them out by quantity allows us to search between 10 abbadons each in a different station... and 20 rigs in one station... perhaps i should get better at remembering what i buy and sell but its so much easier to search.....

would appreciate reimplementing that feature unless im missing something

solid expansion otherwise... keep up the good work

I have to say that I am very pleased with the new Crucible expansion, this is much better than the one that shall not be named which was released just a few months ago.

CCP you guys rock!!!

Bread and games ccp ... Bread and games
And before you kill high sec industry all together can i have all my skillpoints i invested in industry and PI back

In my opinion you guys just killed high and low sec pi
i wonder if your people actually read all the feedback thread ... I doubt you ever take notice of them
A 90 page long thread where 3/4 of the people said no very bad idea
, and guss what you just went ahead and implemented a aweful bad and biased new pi concept
My advice , stop killing the high sec industry slowly and next time just take every thing away you know every ore except veldspar , all ice all manufacturing and research slots ( except those in the rookie systems and only for when you doing your tutorial, and remove all agents( except lvl1 agents) and all incursions
yeah just do it in one move will save you alot of time , we will get over it believe me
You will lose 80% of you subscriptions but who needs those damn carebears anyway small price to pay , atleast all industry will be in null sec controlled by people who will use it by ...not using it

Honestly CCP this expansion is nothing but a PR operation
And you will NEVER listen to your customers

I do not agree with what you are saying , but i will defend to the death your right to say it...... Voltaire

Logged in last night and spent an hour flying about taking screenshots of the new nebula. Beautiful.

Also very impressed with the new captain's quarters, immediate warping at gates and implementation of corp locations (as I live in wormhole space, this is a Godsend).

Kudos to all CCP employees that contributed to this expansion - truly majestic.

Did have an issue getting up off the couch after sitting down in a Caldari captain's quarters, and seemed to find myself loading back into the Amarrian ones again and again (out looking at my ship when I'd originally been in the room) while checking on my PI. All forgotten though when I undocked and once again stared at the heavens.

Very impressed with the patch - it looks great.
Lots of great new features.

Frame rate in captains quarters dropped.
Normally sits on 60 fps (v sync) - but its at 40 fps now on a 2600k + 2xGT560 SLI.
I will try it again later to see if it was just a one off.

The only real issue I have is that the Naga as a Caldari ship should use Torps.
It makes the Caldari disadvantaged not having its main weapon platform available.

Not many who concentrated on Caldari over the last few years would have large hybrids trained up due to how useless they were, but they almost all have torps trained.
Admittedly my gunnery skills are average and missile skills are good but the Naga with 3 rof mods in the lows it is just over 200dps better than a HAM drake - but effectively tankless.
I wouldn't wanna take on a well tanked HAM drake with the Naga.

Keep releasing quality expansions like this and I'll be happy.

Overall, it is probably the best expansion in the last 2+ years. Now I see a glimpse of the CCP that created the Eve universe - and I enjoy it immensely. There are still lots of little and not so little things that need tweaking, balancing and bug hunting but it's a good start. Thanks, CCP, and please keep up the good work!

1) I really like the new font and it's made my EVE experience undoubtedly much better... but I did some testing yesterday and looks like I'm in a fortunate situation- 100% scaling suits my screen size and resolution, in my use case everything is perfect.

2) scaling to 90% on 24"@1920x1200 simply does not look good. There are several issues, worst is what is probably the source of all "my eyes get sore/tired/burn" -comments, they are real and the fault is EVE:

- the font looks like it's a bitmap font that is scaled to a non-native size, and anti-aliased, making it blurry and actually hurting my eyes. Idk the actual tech behind the font, but problem looks very similar to a bitmap font displayed at wrong size. UI scalings should lock to nearest native font size, and work from there.

- there are several scaling errors in various parts of the UI; words appear in different font sizes (Items list), text is not aligned to baseline, words are not aligned to left.

After this test I fully understand the rage and think people should seriously be more chill about each other and the font. CCP should also look into this technical issue, it is not as simple as different opinions.

That said, I've never felt this good flying in space, it looks drop-dead gorgeous.

Jukebox playing fast sounds like a sample rate issue. If you use an audio interface and not a soundcard - make sure you have not got it set to a high sample setting. I have had this issue before but only on the high end gear.(Usually running asio drivers)

10points for a great expansion! The only problem i'm having is when i access the Market while flying through space or even while doing missions. My UI literally disappears. Its still there but not visible. Where do i report this? too lazy to search for a linkP

I am currently unable to play Eve since my pc is sitting at drydock and parts for my new rig have yet to arrive, but I can't wait to get back on and try Crucible. It sounds like a great expansion.

ps. Did devs do anything to tone down lonetrek nebula?

Very disappointed in the new limited amount of personal bookmarks players can have.

While the number now allowed is fine for people living in empire with npc stations everywhere, for 0.0 pvp'ers who roam hostile space and especially fleet commanders who need a lot of tactical bookmarks it's nowhere near enough.

Without the ability to have a large number of bookmarks then there will be less 0.0 roaming and less pvp there as a result.

Please tell me this is not true! Shocked PLEASE

Wait what? What has happened to bookmark storage?

CCP, you just killed solo industrials producing PI materials.
Because:
- New taxes are way too high, or the price on the market will be multiplied by 10 or 20. It's not really a problem, if it's intended that all related materials will see their prices increase a lot...
- To avoid these taxes, PI players in corp/alliances will shoot INTERBUS and place their own struct
- Solo players will not be able to do that (too expensive, or their struct will be shoot down by other guys) which mean their selling prices will be way too high.

So solo players that find their way in this career will now have to forget it, start from scratch and loose the last X months (years?) they spend to learn the 3.5M skills point needed to be an Elite PI From one day to another you can't play anymore eve like you enjoyed until now.

Nice... Straight

Edit: apart from that, other changes (nebulae, trails, UI etc) are very nice, good job

Overall I am very pleased with this expansion the only exceptions to this are:

1. The Inter Bus CO's tax rates in WSpace 17% is way too high 10 % to 15% would be more realistic.

2. The very limited access to gantry BPC's for the smaller Corp say with 6 or so ACTIVE members who are locked into a WH. They won’t have the man power to spare and/or ease of access; a Corp CEO may not want his Corp involved in incursions or FW for similar reasons, whereas larger corps can detach a group to be dedicated to this.

It often seems, at least on the surface that the smaller groups are not favoured by you, when it comes to this sort of thing, not sure why.
Internal politics or otherwise maybe their voice is not loud enough like the big Corps and Alliances.

This makes me feel this specific element of the BPC access has not been thought through fully.
_ _ _ _ _ __ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

A thought to consider.

A point I feel that should be looked at is the Corporation Bookmark folders, there should be the ability for members with a certain level of authority to pass word them just like Hangers. Why? you may ask, well you may want to very quickly pass out book marks within the Corp structure/hierarchy but only to certain trusted key personnel for war purposes etc; especially as spies can and will infiltrate Corps. And I am sure they will be eager to try and access Corp BMs if they can.

Apart from that, this seems to have been a good update so far.

Why should a solo player be on equal terms with a team of organised pilots, in a MMO?

Who say that ?
Team of organised pilots can use more planet, be complementary, go into nullsec etc.
Just suppose you're a fighter specialized in hybrid turret. New patch, rules completely changes (i.e. ammo now cost 200x more), you speciality is useless now. Happy ?

Two things I love most so far:

THE FONT

Now text is much more easy to read on my CRT.

THE STARS

As anyone with basics of physics/astronomy knows you just can't see stars in space, lest nebulae, without BFG telescope. But this time I don't give a damn. Seeing all these stars knowing all of them are systems in EVE world... That's just awesome and I have no words to describe it. It's the very first time in my EVE experience when I actually feel I'm in the space.

Oh and of course tons of other improvements (I fly Gallente, y'know ;) ). There are warts and glitches too, like people not showing in station guest list, and to some people certain changes are less welcome than to others. But overall it's very good expansion. Keep up the good work. Thanks.

I got that impression from your post.

On a side note, I've been doing solo PI on my max-skilled alt in lowsec. I welcome this change, it was always way too easy ISK in terms of risk/reward. If someone now shoots the Interbus COs I'm using and builds their own, it's good for them. I need to rethink my PI and most probably will leave RvB and join a real corp for a change.

My specialty is not useless, I need to adapt. This is not a game like chess with a certain set of rules. New Eden is a living universe, constantly evolving. Those who adapt, prosper.
