Yep, confirming this. Was a pain getting out of my WH.. so I got back in quickly.

Hmmm...my map seemed to load quicker and be more fluid. Maybe hardware issues?

I had no loading time at all before crucible.. how long does it take load it for you? I'm thinking it might have something to do with cache that has to be built the first time in a new map?

I also felt I had a more responsive map (both solar and world) after Crucible.

loads instantly for me. overall, all UI in general feels faster.

btw: this is the wrong forum to file bug reports

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

I get map less than 1.5 seconds after I press the button. I don't know what's going on with you guys.

Could this be related to alliance JB?

Fast load times for people without JBs in map
Slow Load/build times for people with JB's in map

Having same issues with slow load times now.

Same issue, no alliance jumpbridge.

After the initial 40 second load time it loads pretty much instantly subsequent openings.

I just installed the game, and the map opened as soon as I clicked on it for the first time. Not sure that means anything, but maybe if it keeps going you could try reinstalling entirely instead of patching.

Mine is a fresh install, because patching failed, then the repair tool failed :P


edit: I'm wondering if it is because of the star color settings i'm using.

As a vaguely related issue: I'm noticing that when I mouse over the little information windows for systems, not only do they take their time loading the information, the map actually ceases to respond while they're doing it. I can close it or flatten it to stop them from trying, but it's still pretty annoying.

I'm hoping I was intended to be able to look around the map while some silly little window I didn't even want to load is loading.

I think it has to do with all of the added sov/standings crap for the lines and tiles and such. If I turn everything off and just use the color by region I loads like ass in station and maybe the first time in space...then its fine.

If I have everything up....ugh 45 seconds, which is fun when your destiantion is 40 jumps and constantly changing due to camps and gangs and such.
