Does anyone know what happened to TRAPS (The really awesome players) and Nexa Necis?

These were probably the best pirate / revenge stories ever on the eve pirate site.

Will they ever come back to avenge against the smack-talkers and bring down the self important elite paper PvPers?


We need a new outlet for this form of Justice in New Eden as many these days hide behind their forum posts, blogs and meta gaming when the only real antidote to their poison is the fire of blasters and posting of their pathetic tears in chat logs..

(within EULA of course, in case Mr Ripard 'wormtongue' Teg is watching ;) )

So who are the new purveyors of steely Justice in New Eden? The ones not only driven by Isk, but by vengeance against the sour?

I used to read Nexa's stories on EVE Pirate all the time. I miss the tales of people getting whacked by TRAPS. Nexa has been inactive for years though, her character portrait isn't even updated from when the avatar switch was made. I've come to accept that TRAPS is a chapter in EVE that will remain closed. Cry

So TRAPS dispersed around February 2010 - about a month after I got in to Eve and through a convoluted incident, I fell into scouting for them instead of mining in a lonely Catalyst during my first weeks playing like I had been.

By that time, Nexa hadn't logged in a few weeks, and so on one of the last TRAPS wars, some of the TRAPS guys (Khorr Volka, Xonja 2zero, and one other) stole a corporation named Just Us Guys In Space. They all moved to this corp when it was pretty much realized that Nexa was going to be MIA for an undetermined amount of time, which in retrospect seems to be "forever". Any of the toons still in TRAPS are pretty much inactive, and have been since at least early 2010.

So the old active TRAPS guys continued to prosecute wars under the JUGIS banner, and this is when I came in flying a autocannon Punisher with them and learned the ropes of highsec wars from them.

Of the then-active TRAPS-then-JUGIS players that I knew from that period, only 2 tend to log in, and only very occasionally.
