Remove chat windows

How about giving us the options to hide chat windows/borders/everything .
Like to only leave text scrolling on screen .

What im saying is that i only wanna see the text from chat but not the window too .. Like letters flowing on screen and just that.

Have you tried pinning the window to turn it transparent?

It was a nice thing to see. I wish EVE overall used "smoother" UI designs which blend with the background. For example overview and some other windows could be implemented as this kind of transparent gadgets.

Would look nice, but when it comes to clicking on an overview item instead of space, or the other way round... to remedy that, transparency of the window should be independenty configurable for the cases


  1. Mouse outside the window
  2. Mouse hovering in window
  3. Window focused


Especially "Mouse hovering in window" to give a visual feedback that you'd be clicking into it rather than space.
