Posting in stealth "Fix Democracy" thread

I just undocked for the first time and someone challenged me to a duel. Wat do?

Meh, so long as CSM candidates are going to be nothing but null-alliance flacks with trillions of ISK backing them up, they may as well offer to buy our votes. Since they're not going offer us anything else of value then they may as well offer us some ISK at least.

Well that's not entirely fair. Some of them offer the occasional witch hunt.

A reward for voting?

The right to complain about the CSM not getting anything done.

If you don't vote, you don't get to complain.

If only someone with power would enforce that rule.

President Barack Obama's "Life Line" cell phone plans that cell companys had to offer to low income people with text, email and call time for free or no more than 10 USD / month

Lifeline
•Lifeline is a government benefit available to qualified, low income customers in limited geographic areas and willfully making false statements to obtain the benefit can result in fines, imprisonment, de-enrollment or being barred from the program; Only one Lifeline service is available per household whether wireline or wireless; A household is defined, for purposes of the Lifeline program, as any individual or group of individuals who live together at the same address and share income and expenses;

Federal Lifeline Assistance Program to qualifying families and individuals. We believe having reliable cell phone service is a right not a privilege and want to give you the freedom to communicate without paying another cell phone bill again. Qualifying individuals receive a FREE cell phone with 250 free minutes each month!

Just to be clear. That was a program started before Obama took office. It was either Bush or Clinton.

You are all lucky, I live in a country where there is voting duty, not voting right. What?

with how much people whine and cry about the government, I wish you were required to vote, add a "I don't like any of them" option, but maybe if they have to take the time to vote, people would actually learn who and what the people running for office actually stand for

Where I live, voting is not mandatory.
However, buying votes is a common occurence.

So far, all of these CSM canditates seem to have trillions of ISK in their pockets, I see no problems with them sharing a bit of the love for us not so ''space rich'' folk Roll

Hi guys! I have been checking out all the different CSM people to see whom I wish to cast my vote for. I just wanted to know if any of the people are giving out bonus prizes for voting for them kinda like how I got a free phone once in real life for my vote.

I'm not scheduled to rage out at the "gimmie-gimmies", until 5 minutes after the anniversary gifts are announced (which is about when people begin complaining).

Unfortunately our politicians know that we have to vote anyway and have used that knowledge to succesfully make a mockery of the democratic process so it really doesnt matter who you vote for.
