And to answer the OP: The skins have been added to the game client but have not been activated yet. When they do (probably in the near future) you can buy the BPC in the AUR store and knowing the entrepreneurs in EvE, shortly after that the completed ships on the market for Isk. Most probably at a 'slightly' increased price level compared to the original...Blink



Now not to split hairs or anything but i find nothing wrong with my post that was removed. Saying someone wants to look good while they carebear and more power to them is neither derogatory or racist. Pull the stick out of your ass.

Also it seemed the op took the statement as intended and had a laugh about it as well.

There is no new Mackinaw... Its just a skin.

No one can answer this question but yourself. There is no stats to look at, it is purely do you wish to spend ISK for your ship to look different?.

By "is it worth it" was more a topic starter and as others have pointed out the things going to be a gank magnet and is a tester for things to come and I for one am glad they are doing this. I want that new insainly sexy orca more than anything though I seriously want the thing In my hangers :-)

IMHO, NO it is not worth it.

First, you are paying MORE for a ship without any boost in productivity. it doesn't mine faster or hold more or tank more. It just looks "pretty". Which in and of itself is subjective.

That being said, it will be a gank target for sure.

Secondly, when the Summer release comes out, mining barges and exhumers are going to be rebalanced. You should have a look at the Dev Blog. After the release, you might not WANT to be in Mackinaws.
