Good evening,

I do want to thank you for taking the time to get this program up and running and keeping it up to date with EvE patches, well done.

I also would like to point out a bug I think I have found with titans. They don't give their racial bonuses when applied into the fleet/wing/squad command positions. I am not sure if it has been reported to you yet, if so sorry to repost already known information.

Thanks again,

New version doesn't seem to save setups. Anyone else got this problem? I can still save them as an image but they don't seem to automatically save. Have I done something wrong or do I need to edit the config or something?

Also noob question. When you save a setup to clipboard, where does it actually go? As in the save directory.

I've been having this issue as well, but in previous versions too. (as per my post on page 6)
Sometimes it helps to close the fit BEFORE closing EFT.

As for the clipboard; it goes to... the clipboard...

Hmm... problem seems to have solved itself after just trying a few times.

As for my other question, I meant where does the setup gets saved. Normal setups gets saved in the "Setup" folder as a .cfg file. Where is the clipboard folder?

since Crucible deployed exporting fittings with

Medium Automated I Carapace Restoration
Y-S8 Hydrocarbon I Afterburners

via .xml doesn't work - importing it cause en error: invalid module name

this modules was renamed ingame into

Medium Automated Carapace Restoration
Y-S8 Hydrocarbon Afterburners

by removing "I" - tech level one sign

P.S. possibly all "named" modules has such type of 'modification' - I didn't check others

P.P.S. thank you for EFT

nowhere - fitting just copied into system clipboard as a plain text - you can "paste" it where you want

Another instance of unknown WININET error # 127 with EFT 2.14 when trying to update character via the API.

I verified I have the wininet.dll file in c:\windows\system32
I tried running EFT in XP compatability mode and with admin privilege as a test. No joy.

I'm running Windows Vistaâ„¢ Home Premium (6.0, Build 6002) Service Pack 2 64 bit

BTW, thanks much for this tool. I have used it for years and Eve would be very much harder to enjoy without it!

Your using Windows ****-sta, there's a reason your having problems. Upgrade your OS to Windows 7 and **** off with the bitching imo.
Better yet, learn coding, programming, and all the wonderful things Gripen has taken his time to learn and just write/code your OWN fix for the problem and post it here like a boss. However, you'll probably embark on this, then suddenly realise that "OHSHIT, this crap this way more complicated than I'd have thought" and you'll gain an appreciation what kind of hard work is require to make things like this be compatible with **** software like Microsoft ****-sta. Then you'll cut your bitching in due course and then hopefully just upgrade to Windows 7 in the end and save us all further posts about the ****-sta failing to authenticate.

^ This all at Xen especially, as much as we ruv your trolling in dod local, Gripen deserves nothing but respect at this point.

Dude, try some decaf with your internet...Roll I realize you pointed at Xen but you quoted me so that's not good style.

FWIW, I wasn't bitching or moaning and I fully realize Vista is crap but that's what's on the machine right now. This was simply a little bug report with some additional info that I didn't see in previous posts about things I tried and the result. Nowhere did I bash Gripen or demand a fix. Now, or later, or anytime. In fact, just the opposite(see the keyword "thanks" in my OP, feel free to google it if you don't understand the meaning). I'm just supplying info to the guy with the source. It appears I don't have much control over DLL search path and load order in Windows so I'll play around a bit, talk to people more Windows knowledgeable than me, and get back to the thread if I learn anything interesting.

In the meantime, I did confirm that this exact same executable(run from a network share) runs fine on XP SP3 32bit and Win 7 SP1 64bit. So as a workaround if you have another OS available, I would offer that you could update your character via the API from a machine other than Vista and then the rest of the app seems to work fine under Vista(at least for me).

EDIT: OK, so I see someone else did report trying compatability mode without success in the thread and I missed it. My bad. But I'll try to improve at reading and you can still try decaf.

Every now and again, but quite often, (seemingly random) EFT will not save changes I've made, be it to configuration or fittings.
There will be no files written, or any action to save anything really.

Until now most similar problems were caused by denied access by UAC or people shutting down their PCs before exiting EFT. If no more reports from other people with such problems appear you should look for the roots of the problem on your system.

I've checked all the titans and their fleet bonuses are working for me. Can you give more info about what you were doing to get that issue?

Thanks. As a workaround until next version I suggest to use HTML setup library to import fits to EVE (it references modules by TypeID numbers and not by names like XML import).

I am having the same issue with fits not saving themselves after I have changed something on them. I close the fit, then close EFT. I haven't turned off my PC since downloading EFT so there isn't any issue of not closing it properly before turning off my pc. I have never had an issue like that before with any previous versions of EFT. It is a new problem with 2.14, for me at least.

As for the titans, it seems it is actually a bug with all bonuses. If I set a squad command of only a character with all level 5 skills ( No Ship ), my cap recharge goes up. I don't think that should happen, right?

I have completely deleted all files for EFT and downloaded a fresh new client 2 times now and I still have the issue.

I gotta ask: why after all this time is your main DL link one that makes us wait 30 seconds + jump through hoops when the alternative is so much better?

Swap them maybe? Nit-picky I know but I've always hated that primary link.

I want to thank you for the hugely useful program. I found last night I had a similar problem when importing an XML into EVE. It didn't like the Meta 3 or Meta 4 Large Railguns. I also experienced the same problem with the Y-S8 Hydrocarbon Afterburners.

Is there a version of EFT that recognizes the new Oneiros setup? It changed considerably in Crucible.

If I'm not mistaken, 2.13.5 handles this.

On another note, it seems that the Phoenix's DPS is not taking into account the effects of Siege Module I (the other three dreads are fine).

Also, any ETA on when the new T2 mods are coming in?

Thanks for making a great tool!
