My question here is how doese ccp sees 1 month ? Why i`m asking ?..with the plex prices rising up ..as in 730 mil a plex as of today i just activated like 8-9 of them after liquidating a lot of **** ..so from 06.05.2014 when my account would of expired now it is 31.12.2014 ..now the point of this is as i see it ..i just lost 1 week of game play because each time i activated 1 plex id get -1 day ..so maybe ccp could explain theire view on how they see a month ..because if i say .."9 months from now ill be (insert place here)" it would mean that since today is 09.04.2014 on the 9.01.2015 id be in that place ..corect? so ..i expect an logical answer from either ccp or other geniuses @ this forums .
Ps: i fail at typing
Ps2: i`m frustrated about the 1 week loss cuz of plex prices ..if they were @ 500 mil i wouldnt care about the -1 day thing

PLEXs are a 30-day game time extension, not 1 month, right ?

If they made it 31 days, you'd have the same issue, but the other way around. And if you made it depend on which month you use your PLEX, February would suck for sales.

Really, think for a second about what solutions there are to your problem, and you'll realize you don't really have a problem.

Depending on which system you employ to calculate your month, it can have between 29 days and 27 days, so CCP is pretty much spot on with seeing 30 days as a standard month to eliminate irregularities. Furthermore, 30 days is also a lot easier to calculate than 29 or 31 days for humans, and a static standard 30 days easier to manage for the code and servers, don't you think?

What is missing, however, is an ingame counter on how much time you have left on your account.

well 1 thing i didnt observe so far was that the activation was for 30 days so in that case there is no problem ..i allways had the impresion plex was for 1 month etc ..oh well silly me :)) tks !

In business terms, "one month" is generally accepted as 30 days, regardless of which calendar month you're in, because it makes communication easier.

Granted this is just a de facto standard (much like "English" is the de facto language of global business).
