In-Game Events and Gatherings

Well I have to say this was one heck of an event. Haven't been this close to a real rocking party since.. going to a real rocking party.


Special thanks to Commander A9, DJ Plymoth45 and DJ Daggaroth. For those in the formations it was an honor to fly with such good pilots and congratulations to Morwen Lagann for winning the Chimera. I would also like to thank Diana Kim for helping bring Federation NPCs into the fleet.

I want to personally thank everyone who donated, who attended, who flew the Missing Man Formation with me, and especially New Eden Radio, for everything!

This event was a colossal success!

Congratulations to all of the winners of the lightshow prizes, to Morwen Lagann for winning DJ Daggaroth's carrier (you lucky [censored]!), and to everyone who helped me set this up, network, and share ideas!

For the Missing Man attendants, I will be in touch to get your Empire Faction Frigates to you!

A special thanks to Diana Kim for showing up and getting into the action; I commend you, especially considering that Caldari Militia get engaged on-sight in Luminaire! Very brave of you!

New Eden Radio really kicked ass on this event! The playing of Taps was well done, although when "Bad World" was played, I found myself singing along...and I cried at my keyboard (not that that's a bad thing, given the circumstances).

That aside, I'm really pleased that people had so much fun, even with the flypasts. It's not everyday that people enjoy a simple align, cruise, and fleet-warp to a station!

You guys made this awesome!

Hi, found out about the event via the news post. Being an hour late, I thought it might have been over.

It turns out there was plenty of party left. The event exceeded my expectations, and time flew by between lightshows and flybys with the chat and music (incl. requested songs) from New Eden Radio.

Thanks to everyone! The amount of prizes was crazy, with ample opportunity to win something! I definitely recommend such events. Now, I see this subforum may be a good place to look; Commander A9 also mentioned the "Live Events" chat channel.
