Who are you voting for in CSM9?

Now that the Voting for CSM9 has Officially Begun, I am interested in hearing what everyone's ballots are looking like. Big smile

CCP is gonna be working with the 14 candidates who are elected for the next year, so I like to get a good idea of who the favorites to win are!

Im voting for MTU!

He's the only clear choice for anyone who likes their CSM with a hard body and a long reach

MTU promises loot for all!

MTU is no tout, he never calls for CONCORD to solve his problems!

MTU is fair to all, and mean to none!

'cause I like wormholes, lowsec, and new players. Though I did almost vote for Meanna, because I think she's probably brilliant. Though, lets be fair - there will be a 'waffe candidate on the CSM next year without my vote. Grr goons?

I've felt that "cloaky afk campers" need to be addressed for quite a while now. Does anyone know, are any of the candidates interested in taking up that banner?

Before getting flamed, I don't think this practice needs to go away entirely, but I think there needs to be a certain amount of risk included in it. Either a way to scan down cloakies (perhaps a new series of skills or equipment?), or better, some "natural" phenomenon that periodically uncloaks all ships in a system.

I feel that CCP has designs other than "better gameplay" for not addressing this in the past.

When you go to vote you get a little brochure that gives you a rundown of each candidate's platform. Is there something similar for CSM? How do I know what each CSM's stance is?

I know that both myself and mynnna have issues with the practice, so, there's two candidates to start you out. I do suggest filling out the rest of your slate after that, though.

Well Ripard put up his recommendation a few days ago.

I have my own preferences for the top couple of places on my ballot and after that I'll be figuring out a voting pattern opposite to everything Ripard wants, not that i really see the lower positions in the voting as being all that significant. Preferences beyond the first few votes won't have much impact.

I'm another who has been addressing the cloaky issue. Dive into my thread and you'll see a few convo up on the last page.....or 2!

Voted for the WH 5 since I have no idea who the new candidates were and I couldn't be arsed to read page after page of semi-political propaganda, hence I took the 5 who seemed to be closest to my interests.
