CSM 9 Elections, How and When to vote

It's now the 8th, the first day of the elections.

I can't see anything regarding the CSM voting in the launcher.

The CSM page itself on the CCP website has no link and there is nothing about the elections on the homepage.

I'm genuinely disappointed.

If anyone can find a link to vote, please post it here.

Sorry to be a pedant but the Hood was not launched until 1920.

The battle of Jutland was in 1916.

Hood WAS sunk, but in 1941 in the Denmark Straits by the Bismark.

Churchill can be faulted for his judgement as First Lord of the Admiralty as it was he who advocated the Gallipoli fiasco.

^^ Man has a point, IIRC HMS Hood started construction on the same day as the Battle of Jutland and her sister ships were never finished.

Honestly, I am not sure if this wouldn´t entirely be a bad idea.

Of course, everyone should have at least one vote. Additional votes should depend on the (exponential) amount of taxes paid with a hard cap of, for example, three additional votes.
Taxpayers are, after all, those that finance all the fun stuff that is done, so it is entirely reasonable to give them a bit more voice....

I've now looked everywhere. This election is definitely not open or publicised yet.

At the risk of sounding like a keyboard forum warrior, I expected a bit more and was hoping that downtime would mean everything would show up.

Given the amount of enthusiasm from the community, the great work that the podcast guys have done (Legacy of a Capsuleer, Declarations of War and even Clueless Space Nerds!) and the promotion of the candidates, I feel that CCP need to pull a tiny bit more weight at their end to show that they feel as strongly about this process as we do.

I'll update this thread the moment the voting page(s) pop up.

Sounds like reverse psychology - normally they promote it out the ass, and still people whine after about how "not enough effort was made to get apathetic voter interested", so maybe this time, they thought "half-ass it, let the forum warriors work themselves into a frothing rage about it, open it up last minute, and likely get twice the usual turnout".

Really, voting seems to be busy already. I mean, Mildred White, devoted wife and loving mother b. 1892 - d. 1967 has already registered her vote for DJ Funkybacon so it shouldn't be that hard.
