Log Out To Character Select Screen

This feature should have been made available once you started allowing people the ability to train multiple characters. It has been discussed in the past and will be again. GET IT DONE and stop wasting our time.

It's not going to happen and you know it. That's specifically what keeping the launcher open is for.

Which is why it should be there! The launcher is terrible, having to retype passwords is the most shocking security hole imaginable. Keylogging from my kid who sees me doing passwords all the time illustrates the issue.

1. Keep Launcher Open (settings -> keep open after launching EVE ... or whatever the wording is)
2. Log out
3. Click "Play" again
4. Choose other toon.


Nowhere near ideal ... but it works until CCP gets a working "log out back to character select screen" option working.

CCP have said no to this idea although they would like to do it. Something to do with the game asuming that you won't change characters and if they put this in the whole game would explode and everyone would die a horrible death and i'd get all the stuff, ok the last part was me being silly, but it can't be done without re-writing the whole game from the ground up.

See above. It is because of the link between client and server being made on initial log in that you cant change characters without terminating the link by closing the client.


So no.

And next time dont post something that has been posted a million times already and is already clearly explained as impossible at this moment.

You are just wasting peoples time now.
