Aura tutorial on fitting requires "Shield Operation" skill.

The Aura tutorial prompts me to fit a "Small Shield Booster I" module, but I am told when I try that I do not have the skills to fit the module. People in the rookie help channel suggested buying the skill book, but I cannot afford one at this point in the tutorial chain, since I started with 5000 ISK and earned another 500 on picking up my initial ship.

I've opened a GM petition about this, but I'm not sure whether I did anything wrong to get stuck or what.

Edit 2:

It appears that when I logged out during the initial tutorials, I attempted to resume where I was by talking to Aura in the agents window, rather than hitting F12 to resume the tutorials there. This skipped me ahead to the introductory mission, which skipped over the skill training steps.

It's easy to screw this process up by not doing it in one sitting!

For the devs i'd also point out that I've had a friend to fail the tutorial missions by not completing them in time. They expire after some months, and if a player doesn't complete the mission in time (doesn't sub immediately but like after a year) they fail it and can't continue it. Sure there are other career agents to start again from scratch but they probably won't know of their existence.
