Can we please have the ability to submit multiple manufacturing jobs in one go please? This would be feasible where the parameters of each job are identical and would negate the need for mindless clicking which does not seem to add any value whatsoever.

Also, can you add a check-box to the Invention job result feedback that doesn't insist I keep blindly hitting "Enter" to find out if my invention job succeeded or not. For those of us that don't want/need to review the results of each job, the option should be given to not prompt the result in a dialog box. I'm running 50+ jobs at a time and hitting Enter 50 times without looking at the screen seems rather pointless..

Thanks

Let's twist this a bit more, might as well go all in when we request the impossible (I think this is too intertwined with POS code to be touchable).

Having the player be there and do each individual step in R&I isn't, or at least shouldn't, be necessary. We're capsuleers, with ISk representing oodles of planetary cash. Of course we hire managers for this kind of job.

We should be able to give the manager a BPO, or BPC set, and tell him to run 50 invention jobs, or to run until I've got a certain amount of succeeded jobs. Provided there're materials enough, of course, which will be displayed.

The same goes for research, of course. Give the manager a BPO, tell him what level you want it at. He'll tell you when it'll be done, in total, without having to chunk it into 30 day periods. All needed materials should of course be turned over as well.

For manufacturing, its much the same thing. Give the manager a BPO (or BPC set), any component BPO(s) and the materials, then tell him how many of the finished product you want. He'll give you a time estimate.

The manager of course has his own queue, independent of the current system. No limit to adding things to it, or canceling jobs that haven't been started in actual invention/research/manufacture yet.

Only half sarcastic;

Does this manager have his own skill for these things? Or does he somehow get to magically use yours from x LY away?

'Manager' aside I think being Annie to batch some of these things is good.

I'm right behind you

Most of us don't hire unqualified workers, so he'd of course be able to handle what you can handle.

You've broadened my suggestion which is great. Perhaps a new 'management' concept could be introduced where you train up a skill to be able to command industry at a more macro/managerial level rather than being the 'click slave' yourself. This could extend to invention, manufacture, planetary, and so on. The 'manager' function doesn't have to be like a char. It could be an item that you purchase which you then install into the factory/facility whatever you are using, and then it enables activities to occur in bulk.

I know they like us to be online and playing the game, but really, mindless clicking is a turnoff and I'd rather spend my Eve time on more productive (or destructive) activities!!

Ideas welcome to develop this management functionality further ...
