CCP pulls numbers out of ass and lies on forums!

Here's you're list of unlikers JUST FROM THE FIRST 10 pages of one thread in one forum section in a few hours. It's 57 which means there are far more. which means CCP pulled numbers out of their ass. period.

After reading the OP, I had some things to say about him as a poster and a person. I would have brought up my feelings on how people with obsessive compulsive disorders seem to be attracted to this game more than others. How people with an IQ so low as not to be able to understand a straight forward blog entry are running rampant in here.

But then I read on and came to the conclusion that there isn't much I can add to what most of you have already said about the OP. And watching him shoot himself in the face over and over is fun as well.

unlike us, they know our alts and which IP we are posting with. when they say unique characters they probably count only one post per person, not character.

I do respect CCP t0rfifrans a great deal and having said that - this thread is just pure bull crap attention whoring.

Use all this energy to provide constructive detailed feedback rather than crying about something what can not be made. I can assure you that CCP has fixed multiple things in font/ui based on feedback already and as hard it may sound, I strongly believe that they continue to do so within the reasonable limits.

Perhaps giving it a go would be a good idea? This raging won't get you anywhere.

I noticed more people than just me saying the new font is giving them headaches and is disturbing to their eyes... this is what I really think is the main issue, i been playing eve for a very long time, never quiting, never taking breaks :( (except i stoppede supscription of an alt with the anomaly nerf) please... I dont care about the old font... and I agree its easier to tell system names apart... but if ccp doesn't do something the size of the font... the spacing, and the width. Then I will have to take my first break, my eyes have been hurting and been getting headache, CCP... I beg you, listen to us, just tweak it a little more :'(

Any figures provided are effectively irrelevant anyway. Your experience on the internet should've taught you by now that most people don't bother posting unless they have something to complain about.

That pretty much means that the majority of players are in these groups:

  • Like the font
  • Are tolerant of it, or don't care
  • Don't like it, but either don't read the forums, or aren't the sort to complain about anything.

Personally, I noticed it for a few seconds, noticed the usage of it more, when they used periods as both the thousands-separator AND the decimal point (unless that was changed in the latest client patch), but then I flew my spaceship and forgot about it.

Keep in mind that the European usage of , and . is different from say American usage. They'll probably have to fix it again (they've had to in the past).

ucntkilme should NOT be on this list of people who hate the new font. I love absolutely everything about it. I can read it fine on my 20 inch wide screen, and my 32 inch HD TV whereas before I could only read anything on my 20 inch wide without having to be 3 inches from the screen...

To say 'i hate the new font.. the old one worked for 8 years' just shows ones stupidity for today's technology. EVE is not a game, nor was itended to be, meant to be played on little tiny laptops with 15 inch screens.

8 years ago, hell even 3 years ago, not many people were using TV's as their monitors. Technology has grown, and i'd be willing to bet there are more people now using TV's as their monitors to play eve than one could even begin to imagine.. (there are about 30 in my alliance alone)...

Now while i'm not saying "just go get a HD TV and the font will be better for you", i am saying the old font and font rendering engine was flawed in many ways. Being that it was a static size no matter what monitor you were on. Being so close together, and near impossible to read certain things... There are plenty of other reasons around the forums as to why the old font was flawed and horribe...

Dear op,

CCP can see the account that each character that the post is tied too.


So they know alt posts, so if a person has 3 chars on one account and posts hate on all of them. that is still one person.

Why Can't I have a picture signature.

Also please support graphical immersion, bring back the art that brought people to EvE online originaly.
