Try checking out The Eagles of Eden. We're a small, new-player friendly, combat corp based in Minmatar high-sec space, on the edge of low-sec. We mainly focus on PvE, with plans to expand into a bit PvP while retaining our PvE focus, both combat and exploration.
In addition to our in-house resources, we are closely allied with 2 other corps in the area. One of them is an industrial/mining group, and the other is a low-sec PvP corp (good for some fun and experience!). Flying with pilots from all corps is a definite possibility - it happens all day, every day! We are, for all intents and purposes, one big corp. Between the three corps, we have pilots who are experts in their fields, and who are more than willing to help you out with any questions you may have, big and small, as often as you need! With this structure, you can explore almost any facet of Eve while sticking with the same decent-sized group of friendly, helpful pilots. Since we're still a small corp inside this bigger group, you'll have the chance to experiment in many fields with a more close-knit group atmosphere, which is the best place to learn!

Now, there are, of course, some requirements for entry:
- API check (wallet and skills)
- interview
- not necessary, but highly recommended that you're able to use Teamspeak or Mumble, even if just to listen!

We are an 18+ corp (expect all the joys and links with that). We are small and like to stay small-ish so we don't lose contact with those in the corp, I'd rather know everyone than have my own personal blob. We are as active as we can, killing as much as we can with the fleets available. We mostly all have jobs so we stick to our TZ's with a couple who seem to have no TZ just online most the damn day.

We're here for good fights, we're not too serious business and everyone gets involved in the action.

What We Do:
We're enlisted with Caldari Factional Warfare. We have lots of access to small gang and solo opportunities in one of the bloodiest low sec regions in EvE. We also team up with the militia almost daily for some bigger gang combat. Most combat in faction warfare is destroyer down however militia fleets are often cruiser down or BC down. We pride ourselves in the fact that we're always up for a fight and lots of our members turn up to militia fleets.
