CSM Campaigns

Hi all. I, Robotic Richard Nixon and my dedicated team of top administration officials, do hereby declare my intention to run as a candidate for the glorious cabinet that is the CSM in its 9th iteration.

Robotic Richard Nixon is a new player in only the strictest of terms, not even one day old in fact. But don't let that put you off. I have history with this great game. So much history in fact that I am confident that I know every single corner and loophole of New Eden. I am well versed on the mechanics as my staff have read countless documents and browsed hundreds and hundreds of files and concerns.

Robotic Richard Nixon sees the CSM as a springboard to power. If an individual wants to be a leader and isn't controversial, that means he never stood for anything. Robotic Richard Nixon stands for honesty and true leadership. I aim to be a world-leading politician, one of the greatest space-politicians of our age.

Of our age.

That is what I want to bring to the table. We are here for the now. What we do NOW matters. We are not here to dwell on the past, the things that those before us did are firmly history now. There are no cover ups, just a clear route to victory for us all as EVE Online subscribers.

Okay, all well and good I hear you say. But what is Robotic Richard Nixon going to do for me when we elect him to serve us? This is a good question folks. A question that we pondered for many hours. I want to focus my campaign on faction warfare and lowsec in general.

Why?

Because I believe this niche of the council is/or has been under-represented recently. I believe faction warfare is currently broken, that lowsec is in need of a slight tickle, perhaps not a full revamp, just a little tweak to its identity. My staff have read the reports, we have lived the experience in recent times and I have indeed spent many years living out of various lowsec regions and if you want to make beautiful music, you must play the black and the white notes together. We can fuse together the lowsec playerbase, those who are there for ISK, the faction warfare players, the pirates, traders and all in between.

We will put an end to the farming that blights the warzone. The Faction War isn't thawing; it is burning with a deadly heat. Farming isn't sleeping; it is, as always, plotting, scheming, working, but not fighting. We will bring chaos to the complexes. Rollback timers will be the buzzwords of the CSM9 run. Pvp'ers will shout from the hangar bays "Robotic Richard Nixon fixed faction warfare!"

Vote for me and I will push for change. Vote for me and we will unite lowsec and turn lowsec into our playground of dreams. I will bring us together!


As YOUR lowsec candidate I offer a neutrality and an equal platform for your voices. I will not claim to represent one corp/alliance or be affiliated with any other party. I am here to serve what is a fractured lowsec playerbase. Lowsec is split right now. Read any lowsec candidate's spiel from this campaign trail, read them from the pages of history. There will always be broken promises and loud noises, of shouting and name calling. As lowsec residents we cannot learn from one another until we stop shouting at one another - until we speak quietly enough so that our words can be heard as well as our voices.

I am YOUR voice.

From capital escalations to solo honor fighters, from stargate campers to exploration. Together WE can change lowsec for the benefit of all. I will be your voice, free of any scandal. I understand the art of piracy, the need for ISK, the things that define lowsec for the criminals. But that shouldn't put you off, for I am not a crook. Destruction is all well and good but there are other areas of lowsec that need attention too, lowsec exploration and missions will be revamped under my leadership. I will drive things forward, there will be people queuing outside the lowsec gates waiting to cash their next check.

The finest steel has to go through the hottest fire. The most rewarding ISK will come through the best space! Together as a lowsec community we will make lowsec the place to be!

Out of game, my name is Michael and I am an enthusiastic 41-year-old tax inspector with a fantastic wife and two gorgeous kids. Outside of EVE Online I enjoy playing with my radio-controlled speed boat and I collect rare Elvis Presley records and memorabilia. I have attended EVE Vegas and FanFest is on my list.
