Hey guys, I recently came back to industry and I've been inventing some modules but the weird thing is that I get 1 run t2 bpc after invention instead of the normal 10 runs. What am i missing pls? thanks

BPCs used for invention need to be max run copies to get 10 runs on modules. You are using 1 run BPCs.

thanks mate, I double checked it and I'm copying a 280ME 20PE bp, I'm copying it 20/300 so I guess that is the max I can copy.

Nope, you can make 300 run copies. There's no skill which limits the number of run on the copies

To get max run T2 BPCs, you need a 300 run T1 BPC (max run for modules). The ME and PE are irrelevant, but it must be 300 run. Next time you make copies, make sure you put 300 for the runs per copy, not 20.

Thanks Elena, what I was saying by 20/300 is that I am copying 20 copies and 300 runs and time taken to copy reflects it!

Yeah, that's the max. 20 copies, 300 runs

Double-check the runs on the T1 BPCs you're using. If you're getting 1-run T2 copies, then the input BPCs weren't max run. There's no randomness in this. With modules 300 run BPCs and no decryptor = 10 run T2 BPC.

kk thanks, I'm copying from the original right now and it shows 20/300. When ready I'll double check the runs! thanks mate

Could be that you mis-typed on the previous copy batch and didn't notice. I've made similar silly mistakes when in a hurry.

For what it's worth, I just type a silly large number into the copy interface (instead of 300 or 1500). Type 123456 and the game will autocorrect it to the maximum number.

Remember modules is 300, but for example drones max is 1500, i also just do 9999999 etc when setting runs.

Thanks mate, solved the problem. I guess I got it wrong and my bpcs were contaminated so I wiped em clean and started over with copying!

Rigs and ships are only going to produce single run invented BPC unless you use a decryptor that adds runs.
