Vargur Income running Level 4s with Blitzing (Rubicon 1.1)

Previously I ran 30 missions in a Vargur in a non-blitz manner (i.e. kill all NPCs) to see what the income looked like. This time I've run 30 mission, blitzing in a Vargur or a intereceptor/fast frigate for Recon 1-3.

Mineral and salvage prices were kept the same as from the non-blitzing spreadsheet.


Results:
    After five and third hours, I generated:
  • 191M in isk
  • 11M in salvage
  • 39M in loot
  • 12M in ammo costs
  • 3M in misc expenses (repairs, drones)



    For 226M isk in assets or ~42M isk in assets per hour (not including LP.)
  • Liquid ISK 35M per hour
  • Salvage ISK 2M per hour
  • Loot ISK 7M per hour
  • Ammo Costs -2.1M per hour
  • Other Expenses -0.6M per hour
  • Total Assets 42M per hour



    With LP:
  • 0 isk/lp: 42M/hour
  • 800 isk/lp: 71M/hour
  • 1,000 isk/lp: 78M/hour
  • 2,000 isk/lp: 115M/hour
  • 3,000 isk/lp: 151M/hour


Thirty-five missions were offered, thirty were run and five were declined.

Average mission time: 10m46s
Average travel time: 2m52s (26.7%)
Average time in mission: 7m24s (68.7%)
(Thirty seconds was added to each mission to represent swapping fittings and other tomfoolery.)

Average # of Jumps to missions: 0.63
Average distance traveled to/from mission: 49.61 AU

Caveats:
* 30 missions isn't a very large sample size.

Observations:
Bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeech. And here's why:

    First number LP value, 2nd number is blitzing income, 3rd is non-blitzing from previous spreadsheet
  • 0 isk/lp: 42M/hour versus 71M/hour
  • 800 isk/lp: 71M/hour versus 88M/hour
  • 1,000 isk/lp: 78M/hour versus 93M/hour
  • 2,000 isk/lp: 115M/hour versus 115M/hour
  • 3,000 isk/lp: 151M/hour versus 137M/hour

Thanks for the data! Very interesting.

It seems "blitzing for LP is better" theory doesn't work. At least for hi-sec and before nerf or reprocessing.

For reference, do you reprocess all the loot you get or only the trash ?

That's debatable. Yes, it happened in my case with the Vargur. However, I'm of the tentative opinion that the Vargur's blitzing ability is hampered by its damage projection (i.e. triggers tend to be deeper in falloff.) And by tentative, I mean I'm half tempted to see if a Raven would be as effective as or better than the Vargur at blitzing.

Refine the trash and sell the profitable meta 3/4 items. I normally use EveRefinery to decide what gets sold or melted.

Tengu or RNI / Paladin in amarr space / drone boat of some kind would be my guess for best blitzers. Vargur is not a good blitzer no :)
