What bugs me is the name change. Its not a special Hyperion. Its a painted normal one. I know this has to do with the database and items ID. I really hope they eventually add in the ship customization, but I agree this trial is not going to get them positive results as it includes having to build a completely new ship.


Also, I think the real strenght of this would be if CCP adds in a system that allows alliances to make a custom colour scheme available to their pilots so they can fly under their alliance colours.

I could see myself considering AUR for a hot pink Rifter or a sunflower yellow (Venture yellow?) Coercer. Sometimes I find myself staring at the hello kitty ship render that someone posted a while back..

Maybe it's just me, but if you are zoomed in close enough to see your ship, you are playing the game wrong.

Why would I even buy a skin? It ain't going to change my little red icon to blue (actually I'd definitely pay real money for that).

Alot of people enjoy customizing the look of what basically represents them in a videogame, for alot of people it adds a whole new dimension to the game and can actually be a deal maker or breaker for new players. It gives people something to work towards and to individualise themselves.

What is the point of your "content" if there is nobody around to be part of it cause they all left out of boredom?
