Why is humans the only species in EVE? Why hasnt CCP implemented aliens or geys of different types?

Aint the Space big enough? Is human Genetic supreme in EVE?

Maybe they never evolved in New Eden... Maybe it is not in the Developer plans?

Cloaking is the closest thing to a "Pause Game" button one can get while in space.

Support better localization for the Japanese Community.

there are UFO's and aliens in some missions.

EVE FAQ "7.2 CAN I AVOID PVP COMPLETELY? No; there are no systems or locations in New Eden where PvP may be completely avoided"

i see ur point... but it would be interesting if they had a little part of the k-Space that they owned... and which we had to fight us way in to get look or something.

Aliens would just detract from what EVE is now... a story about all the different conflicts and that go on between humans for whatever petty reason. Aliens would just turn things into an "us or them" situation which is far more black and white (see: boring).

well have some aliens With good intentions, some With bad intentions and some With intentions to be eremits.

It still devolves into an "us or them" situation. Good or not, they are not human. And that makes anything happening between any other human seem utterly pointless to focus on (because "ohmagard! dey aliuuuunzzzz!!!").


There were many reasons why the show Firefly was wildly popular with people (despite what the Producers said). One of those reasons was that it focused entirely on humans.

We have the Jove who have altered themselves so much that they might have stopped being human.
We have the leftovers of the Sleeper civilisation. Who probably did the same.
We have rogue drones. As AI's their thought process is likely to be more alien to us than any naturally evolved alien, because the natural aliens would have similarities due to convergent evolution. Similarities that AIs would not share.
We are capsuleers. We insult the Grim Reaper on a daily basis. With us, the only thing that can be said to be certain is taxes.

Humans are not alone. Not any more.

I'd like to see a lot more geys in this game.

Even more things where CCP wastes their time on instead of fixing Sovereignty, POS, PVE and finally be done with the ship rebalancing? No thanks, we already have enough freaks in this game. If you want aliens, hunt CODE. or CFC players, they seem deluded enough to not count humans anymore (at least in the context of this game).
