I popped out of a wormhole into goony space today - map statistics showed nobody in the constellation yet lots of jumps and a very high number of "pirate and faction ships destroyed".

Met another prober back in the WH - told him it was goony space - he didn't even want to look.


Bring back DEEEEP Space!

Permaban botters on first offense if you have a strong bot confirmation!

I can't believe CCP is making a major effort to find botters (or so they say), yet they just hand out temp bans and let them simply buy fresh characters to continue the behavior.

Ah yes lets trust everything that EN24 posts. Considering the accusations come from a disgruntled ex-member. Lets be honest EN24 will post anything as "news" weather its bullshit or not. Granted I'm not saying that Goons don't RMT, Iam just saying don't believe everything you read on EN24.

First of all the story is on evenews24 which isn't a reliable source (especially when it comes to goon news).

Secondly, the source quoted in the story is a guy who was recently banned from the goonfleet.com forums and became a big babby about it so he's now in PL.

Two bad sources don't add up to the truth.

This crap makes me want to simply quit. Well actually, isk and ship loss is fairly meaningless compered to eve 3+ years ago, so 7 of my 8 accounts are already off-subscription.

You realise they track this on account level and not per character, so unless he was selling his whole account this ist just hurfblurf

Well tbh considering how many goons work for ccp i cant hardly trust them either =/ after all its goons ...

but this botting does infact not surprise me at all. BUT this destroys the game for others and the past 2-3 years eve has been going down the drain and ive heard about more and more people quit due to all this.

Elusif was mentioned at Eve Vegas by the CCP guy incharge of security and banning botters/rmt'ers. So I'm going to take it pretty seriously.

I think people are missing the point! These poor Bots are obviously slaves to their tyrannical masters and therefore should be emancipated by the empire, tis the only Christian thing to do !

There are a few bots in every major alliance. It is not really possible to weed them out. Sadly many of these individuals are leaders of their alliances. But sometimes they get caught, its really only a matter of time before CCP catches someone in the goon leadership with their hand in the cookie jar.
