Some guy in a local chat posted 3 fits of unobtainable ships with unobtainable fits. Concord battleship and 2 polaris frigates, with fits like QA smart bomb and QA web among other, i don't recall them all. I decided to paste those fits in my notes. I collect stuff i find useful like npc damage types, wormhole types and such, mostly stuff people put up in their bios. I have them categorized, so note titled "wormhole" has wormhole designations in it, "npc damage types" has damages that npc deal and what dmg to use on them and i have a note called "cool stuff" in which i pasted those fits. After pasting those fittings my notes glitched. Those fits have somehow replaced some of my older notes, i think it copied over and replaced the notes i clicked on right after i pasted those fittings. The note titles have not changed only the text in those notes.

I'm having the same issue. It practically made notepad unusable, and I use the notepad like totally often.

confirming this issue...

various links i had regarding Jove ships such as the eidolon and spectre have been removed. however, when i mouse-over the note text field the links appear but are not clickable.

However, other information such as links to funny gifs and other useful info with nothing related to The Jove were also deleted or duplicated.

Concord Battleship and Polaris Frigate fits were not removed in my case.

{Update} Created a new note about 12 hours ago with locations of event agents I have found in Caldari and Gallente Space. This new note was working correctly and opened and closed without incident for the duration of my session.

Logged on again this morning and opened the note to find it had now showed the text of the note that I mentioned duplicated itself. Cleared the text field successfully and typed a test note. Closed and reopened that note to find the duplicated text once again.

A GM told me the issue was resolved?! Yet the notes keeps getting corrupted. I delete an old note, make a new one paste some text and as soon i click on any other note the new one gets corrupted. I had lots of important links there, the only reason not using the windows notepad is of course for the link convenience. Right now all notes gets filled with the text of just one note which contains some viral jove ship links that keeps infecting my notepad.

What I want to know if there are any backups of for example the notes before this patch. Is it possible going back to an earlier version or is the only solution to delete all notes?

Got the clean your cache folder reply which of course did nothing to fix this issue.

All my funny links are back and have been restored! Lol

However the note with said funny links is now the note that duplicates itself and overwrites new notes...

I was able to recover other valuable notes from my notepad on the Singularity Test Server which is still functioning perfectly. I reccomend this workaround for anyone still sufferring from this issue.
