So, I tried to open EVE via the launcher and guess what? The launcher window went to a yahoo search page! ?????? Anyone have this issue? I've deleted the launcher folder, ran the repair tool and nothing. It still does it.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

ETA - I uninstalled the client and attempted to reinstall and I get an error message. "Archive extraction failed. 3. And this is using the manual install.

So, after trying everything I could possibly find on the internet, I changed a setting in Microsoft Security Essentials to exclude the ccp folder and voila!
