I'm not saying internal rot won't happen, but CCP would have to fundamentally alter this game for the worse to drive goons out completely. At best, you're looking at an on/off goon dominion cycle.

I honestly think it would be interesting to see some of the major null FCs/power blocs trying to burn current C5/6 Wspacers out.

Both have humongous ISK faucets behind them, and great skill. Both have huge capital fleets. Yes, the Null Seccers have far, far more players, but you can only bring in so many people per Wormhole. Add onto that that once the major high-enders find out that invasion fleets are being seeded, hole control will be a major, running battle over every time zone instead of one battle after a set timer.

It's one thing to have one alliance or another try to claim a constellation, but it would be fun to watch a null sec v. C5/6 coalition that would rally together to keep the major null players out of C5/6 space.

Why?

Without someone artificially forcing a constant stalemate, a blue doughnut (or "gravy-ring" for some) is simply the natural way a petridish (more like what EvE is than a sandbox) would play out.

You can be a lab-mouse squeaking in the corner all you wish, but I for one dont object to the lab-rats doing what the data says they will do
