CAN YOU PLEASE NOT F THIS UP by pleading for special treatment because the other side may or may not have unidentified mental issue's.
It means soon we are back in the real world where people can label you out of to loop o she has Y or he has X there for he/she can't understand, it always shocks me how much the information chances people's look the moment you admit to being mentally ill you go from normal to labeled and anything you say will be because of your mental illness.

I am not asking for special treatment for anyone. Whether or not someone has issues, it is a serious ****-move to press someone who is obviously out of control.
I'm not asking anyone to walk on eggshells. Assume everyone is normal until some evidence arises that shows otherwise.

I love how everyone wants to use the sandbox as an excuse (like a bunch of 7 year old kids) to engage in whatever reprehensible behavior they want. I'm asking people to be mature adults, nothing more. I'm asking that when you are obviously hurting someone, stop. That's all.

Maybe the problem here is that there are too many immature people in the game that can't handle the responsibility that comes with playing in a sandbox? Just saying...

EDIT: and I totally understand the being labeled issue. My response to that would be: Why did you just out yourself then? You could have just hit me up in an Eve mail. If people would just do what I'm suggesting, then it wouldn't even matter who might or might not have issues. Trust me, someday, when a lawsuit happens revolving around some incident in EVE, the sandbox will be ruined. Is that what you want? I wouldn't back off of you because you had issues, I would back off because you are out of control. The point about issues is that some people are more likely to go out of control and more likely that real damage will happen.

When somebody is raging is the time to strike its the moment they won't clearly think about the decisions they make, to give you a in game example if you have a spy in the enemy fleet and you known the FC is shouting its the moment to drop on them.
The moment to target that fleet because it will make bad decisions, the moment a scam victim, shouts at you is the moment to play double or nothing its to moment you have to most to gain, its only rational as a player to take advantage of this weakness.

Now for a normal player I really don't see the issue with striking at there weakest moment but you are asking not to do the same for a mentally ill player you ask for people not to do this.

Please give me a checklist when I'm obviously hurting somebody vs when I'm taking advantage of a ranging players weakness Where do we draw this line.
I'm not a mental health professional sorry but i can't tell this line over teamspeak ( plus I'm really bad at reading the mental state of my fellow humans ).

Seriously? You are telling me that if a player is raging to the point of making death threats, won't leave the comms and just stays there and rages even though you can hear the rage ramping up and up, starts spouting highly irrational statements and threats, etc., acts like they are losing everything in their entire existence that matters, that you can't recognize that?
Gimme a break. Not buying it.

Just because its a sandbox doesn't give you license to do just ANYTHING you want. There are limits. And if you go too far there are LAWS, because society has agreed that it isn't ok to hurt people. Just waiting for the provocation lawsuit to happen one day...

Look, I recognize that some people are immature and just want to do what ever they want regardless of the consequences. I don't actually expect to reach any of those people. I'm just appealing the the much more plentiful people that have some empathy and human decency to think a bit about what is happening in an encounter,
